into the airとはどう訳すべきなのでしょう？
Orville Wright took the Flyer that he and his brother Wilbur built into the air for what has come to be known as the first powered flight. 海外の雑学サイトを見ていたら上のような文がありました。訳すと「オービル・ライトは初の動力飛行として知られることになる、兄のウィルバーと製作したフライヤーに乗った」となってしまって、「into the air」をどう訳出すべきなのかがわかりません、お知恵を拝借させてください。

for を忘れていませんか。 into the air for で一まとまりでしょう。この for は目的(地)を示す for だと思われます。 into the air が for の目的(地)ですね。 「オービルライトは、空へ行くために兄のウィルバーと製作し、初の動力飛行として知られることになるフライヤーに乗った」 という感じでしょうか。

文法的には 「took the Flyer into the air」 で、「フライヤーを空に連れて行った」という感じなのでは、と思いました。 で、その後の「for ～」は「～（目的）のために」で、 「初の動力飛行として知られることになる飛行（のため）に」というような意味合いかな、と。 まあ、このままでは直訳調すぎますが(^^ゞ

"As the designer of SpaceShipOne, I was completely certain of our team's successful flight. I have wanted to see our privately-built spaceship achieve something the U.S.government has not achieved;develop technoligy to make space flight affordable and safe for ordinary people. intoは 中に という意味ですよね。 break into crash into 上のふたつの意味がわかりません。 intoがつくとどう訳せばいいのでしょうか・・

intoには、 「…（の状態）に（変化を示す）」 という意味があると知りました。 そして分からない事が二つあります。 例文で、 Translate these sentences into Japanese. （これらの文を日本語に訳しなさい。） Water changes into ice at zero degrees. （水は０度で氷になる。） Can you put this sentence into Japanese? （この文を日本語にしてくれますか。） とあるのですが、何かが何かに変化する時に、変化する名詞の前にintoを置く、という使い方でいいのでしょうか？ 二つ目は、intoの反意語はout of で、inの反意語はoutという事ですが、 「…の中に入る」という意味の時に、intoの後には、入り込む場所の名詞が続き、inの後には何も続かない、という説明を他のサイトで見ました。 それなら、out ofの後には、外出する場所の名詞が続き、outの後には続かない、ということでしょうか？ 拙い文章で申し訳ないです。回答お願いします。

$sql = "INSERT INTO テーブル名(name,day,kg)VALUES('','$day','-1')"; 現在このようなSQL文でINSERTしていますが、データベース内にあるカラムname全てに対してINSERTするにはどうすれば良いでしょうか？？現在のSQL文ではそれができず、nameが空欄の状態で更新されてしまいます。

How do you reenergize an enormous company into believing in themselves again? intoのイメージは進入するイメージだと思いますが、ここのintoはどう訳すのでしょうか？ reenergize は～に再び活力を与える。 直訳すると「再び彼ら自身を信頼することで、どのように再びある大企業に活力を与えるのでしょうか？」。
