maybe USB cable of the camera is special.
I looked for it, but it wasn't found.
The used article wasn't also found.
Even OSX should be able to use the card reader introduced before....
If having your friend who has a card reader in your friend, it's borrowed.
Or a camera and a card reader are lent to your friend and it's order.
Anyway, there seem to be no means of anything but a card reader.
Thanks for your advice. Meanwhile I ordered, I got and I tried the Transcend USB 3.0 Card Reader which you recommended. My iMac refused to recognize the device. Attempts to override the refusal failed.
I got my camera as a present in 1999, the year it was introduced. It didn't come with a USB cord. Today I tried to find a USB cord for the Sony Cyber-shot DSC F505 (serial number 16197) on the Internet. As far as I can tell, none of the cables available from Internet vendors are compatible with the A/V out (mono) socket on my camera. Do you have any idea where I can get a USB cable for my 17 year old Sony Cyber-shot camera? Sorry for the trouble.
