ちょっと笑える英文で "Your yearbook photo caption reads, "unidentified sophomore" というのがありました。 これをアメリカの人にどういう意味か聞いたところ That means, they don't know who they are. If something is 'unidentified' it has no 'identity' and it has not been 'identified'.
