iphoneアプリのリジェクト理由(英語)

質問

iphoneアプリをitunesConnectへ提出 したのですが、リジェクトされてしま いま した。 何度かアップルとやり取りをしたので すが、英語でのニュアンスがつかめず リ ジェクトの根本的な理由がわかりませ んでした。 リジェクト理由は「2.3 Apps that do n ot perform as advertised by the developer will be rejected」です。

私が読み取った中では「説明文と、ア プリの内容が違う」という事で、説明 文と アプリ名を変えたらいいのか？と聞い たのですが ユーザーエクスペリエンスを向上させ てくれ、とのニュアンスの返事のよう にも 思います。 しかし、アプリとしての機能が不足し ているのであれば、2.12 あたりにひっ か かると思うのですが・・。

アプリの内容は、札幌市の学校一覧を ＤＢとしてアプリが持ち 区別の一覧、または文字列検索から学 校を選択し googlemap等を開くリンクがおいてあ るアプリです。

以下にやりとりの全文をのせます。

We found that your app did not achiev e the core functionality described in your marketing materials or release notes, as required by the App Store Review Guidelines.

Specifically, we noticed the app descri ption states that the app includes "・区別学校一覧 ・文字列検索で、学校を検索できます 。" feature. However, this feature was not included in the app and only launc hes Safari at the time of review.

It would be appropriate to revise your app to ensure this feature is fully implemented or to revise your Ap plication Description, Release Notes, and/or screenshots to remove t his content.

If your iTunes Connect Application Stat e is Rejected, a new binary will be required. Make the desired metada ta changes when you upload the new binary.

NOTE: Please be sure to make any met adata changes to all App Localizations by clicking the Edit butto n next to each localization.

- ”区別学校一覧” -> it is a function w hich can display a school by distinction with buttons, such as "東区 " of a top page, and "西区" - ”文字列検索で、学校を検索できます ”. -> A school can be searched with putti ng character strings, such as the "栄"or"栄西小学校", into the search fiel d. It is an application (it has as DB a scho ol which exists as school opening) which can search the school which wants to go simply by these two functions.

■Appleから(2) Thank you for replying. However, we n oticed that navigation feature is not provided within the app. The appli cation only launches Safari to use navigation feature on Google map.

To be sure, this application is not the a pplication to show but an application which searches a school. Should the title of an explanatory note and an application be changed?

■appleから(3) Thank you for your message. While the content of your application is significant the features and functionali ty are not. It would be appropriate to expand your applicatio n to enhance the user experience.

■appleから(4) Thank you for replying. For example, it would be appropriate to add native iOS feature such as Phone, map or other appropria te features should be integrated to provide a better user experience.

これは、1の回答通り、App内に実装せよｍということ。そもそも、Safariの起動ではなく、webViewで、App内に表示するようにしていれば、パスすると思いますが。

iOS向けアプリの開発ガイドラインには詳しくありませんが……

説明文に「・区別学校一覧 ・文字列検索で、学校を検索できます。」と書くのであれば、
その機能をSafari経由ではなくアプリ内に実装せよ、
という指示に思えます。
