授業で出たのに先生もあいまいってどういうことなんだろう（笑） 既に回答が出ていますが The problem was 問題だったのは we should buy the camping equipment. キャンプ用品を買うべきということ that でつなぐと 「問題だったのはキャンプ用品を買うべきだったかということ」 となってしまい、買うか買わないかの話になってしまいます。 文脈によってはそういうこともあるでしょう。 whyでつなげば 「問題だったのはなぜキャンプ用品を買うべきかということだった」 whereなら「問題だったのはどこでキャンプ用品を買うべきかということだった」 になるわけです。 前後の文脈によって疑問詞を入れ替えればそれなりに意味が通ってしまうんですよね。 何を学ぶ課なのかわかりませんが、どれを入れても意味が通ってしまうので 問題としてはあまり適切とはいえない文章ですね。

英語の問題を英語で解答するとき。 これまでの英語の問題は、英文を読んで、日本語の問いを日本語で解答するタイプでした。 しかし大学に入ると英語の文章・英語の問い・英語での解答が普通になってきました。 今まで英語での解答のしかたをやってこなかったのでどのように書けばいいのか分かりません。 例えば 「この時計は誰が作ったのですか？」 「彼が手に持っているのは何ですか？」 「合金とは何ですか？」 上記のような問いがあった場合どのように答えるのでしょうか。 They?It?that?this?There?書き出しから分かりません。 今は仕方なく答えと思われる単語だけを書いていますが、「～は何ですか？」と聞かれたなら「～です。」と答えるのが普通だと思うので、単語だけで書くのはダメかな～と思い質問させてもらいました。 宜しくお願いします。

問題集を解いて疑問が湧きました。 (1)問「その子の泣き声をみんなが聞いた」 ↓ 答The cried of the child were heard by everyone. 答えはこのようになっていました。 受動態なので「その子の声」と「みんな」が逆になるのではないんですか？ (2)Before to go to bed ～. Beforeの次は不定詞でも大丈夫ですか？ (3)I was spoken to by MIke in English. 「by mike」と「in English」は入れかえても大丈夫ですか？ 初心者で申し訳ございません。。。

初めまして、よろしくお願いします！ 問題が 私たちが初めてあったのはクリスマスだった の問いに対して the day was christmas when we met first met と回答しましたが正解は the day when we first was christmas となり不正解になったのですが。 関係代名詞が入るのかがわかりません。 知りたいのは答えではなく自分の回答のいけない点を教えていただけないでしょうか？ 詳しい方よろしくお願いします＾＾
