Assay Principle
The YYY FrT4 assay is a competitive immunoassay using direct chemiluminescent technology. FT4 in the patient sample competes with acridinium ester-labeled T4 in the Lite Reagent for a limited amount of polyclonal rabbit anti-T4 antibody, which is covalently coupled to paramagnetic particles in the Solid Phase.

An inverse relationship exists between the amount of FT4 present in the patient sample and the amount of relative light units (RLUs) detected by the system.

1) Solid phase は、言葉のとおり、固体（固相）のことです。溶液に溶けていても、融点に達していなければ、その物質は固体で存在しています。

2) Chemiluminescent の話なので、溶媒に溶けているのでしょう。

3) Reagent water とは、測定に悪影響が出ないよう不純物を十分少なくした溶媒用の水のことです。

4) 測定システムの説明なので、どういう形式で測定結果を出力するか選べるようになっているのでしょう。
