＞メモリは一本挿しにしてみたりもしましたし、メモリのチェックも行いました。 STOP: 0x00000050 というエラーは、要求されたデータがメモリ内に存在しない場合に発生するエラーなので、一般的にはメモリモジュール自体に欠陥がある場合が多いのです。でも、メモリはチェック済みで正常ということになると、メモリにデータを送るまでの過程、すなわちマザーボードが怪しいということになってきます。

XPにおけるSTOP: 0x00000050 は、以下の２つのようですが、 http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;ja;817197 http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;ja;315335 Lexar Media 社製の USBに心当たりがないのであれば、後者の方でしょうね。何れにせよ、メモリが怪しいと思います。

cdfs.sysが読めない・・・CDとCDドライブは大丈夫ですよね？ 後はメモリ関係とか。 http://orbit.cocolog-nifty.com/supportdiary/2005/09/stop0x00000050_e7fe.html いずれにしろ、ハードウェア関連だと思います。
補足
もちろんです。 CDは他のドライブで読み込みを確認できていますし、コピー及びマスターのディスクなどいずれもメディアも試しました。 ドライブも全部で4台使用可能なものがありましたので、全て接続しなおして試したところいずれも変わらない結果でした。 なお、この記述は表示されないことも多いです。 The problem seems to be caused by the following file: cdfs.sys

現在、DELLのInspiron530を使っているのですが、 BIOSのバージョンを1.00から1.05にバージョンアップしたら、 パソコンをスリープ状態から起動するたびにBlueScreenになり、 A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. 補足
前者は全く思い当たるところがありませんでしたし、後者も疑いましたが特に異常は見つかりませんでした。メモリは一本挿しにしてみたりもしましたし、メモリのチェックも行いました。 何十回と行っても同じエラーになります。パラメータ（エラーコード0x-50のうしろのかっこの数字）のみ若干変わったりもします。
