映画についての文章
Hollywood has had a lot of fun with weddings. In the summer of two thousand five there was the movie "Wedding Crashers." Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn play two friends who trick their way into weddings. Why? Simple: to meet women. いちばん初めの文章は、日本語で言うとどういうのが良い感じでしょうか。 Hollywood has had a lot of fun with weddings. 「ハリウッドは、結婚式を大いに楽しんできた」 と考えましたが、もっと内容をわかりやすく伝えられないでしょうか。 また、 Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn play two friends who trick their way into weddings. の、trick their way into weddings がわかりません。 彼ら（Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn）の結婚式への道のりをたくらむ と考えてみましたが…。 それだと、その後の文章の to meet women の部分と合いません。 質問以外にも間違っているかもしれないので、 よろしくお願いします。

Gです。 補足質問を読ませてもらいました。 ＞trick を訂正して、「彼らの進路を（their way）結婚式に入って（into weddings）騙す（trick）」→「結婚式に自分たちを入れ込んで騙す」→「結婚式に(ズルして）入り込む」のような感じで考えていいのでしょうか？ way intoで「入る方法」、their way into weddingsで結婚式に入る彼らの方法、となり、trick their way into weddingで入る方法を「ごまかす」、と言う理解になるわけです。 ＞厳密に知りたいわけではないのですが、こういう文章に慣れていないので、their way,into この辺りが気になってしまいます。お時間がありましたら、教えてください。 日本語に訳そうとすると難しい物はたくさんあります。 言葉が違うのですから仕方ないのですね。 しかし、found a way into weddings結婚式に入り込む方法を見つけた、We didn't have money but wanted to have fun. So we decided to find a way into Tokyo Disneyland.等の表現を自分で作りこの表現をいつか自分でも使うんだ!と思えば「訳」を覚えなくてもフィーリングで覚えられますね。 このフィーリングで覚える、と言うのが日本人は日本語をアメリカ人は英語を、そして、英語になれてきた人や留学生が聞き取れ始めてから自然にやることなのです。 いちいち、母国語の辞書に頼って調べながらするということはまずしないわけです。 人間には人間としての能力があります。 その能力とは、辞書に頼らなくても、聴いたことのない表現を何らかの形で「理解」することが出来る、と言う事なのです。 ～じゃん？と言う表現で、さてこの「じゃん」はどんな意味なんだろうか、なんて考えなくても使ったり、ちゃんと解釈したりして生活していますね。 ではまたの機会に、

アメリカに37年半住んでいる者です。 私なりに書かせてくださいね。 このhas had a lot of fun with weddingsという表現は、結婚式と言うものをうまく映画のテーマに使い楽しんできた(政策を楽しんだと言う意味もあるでしょうし、ビジネス的にヒットも多く、儲けることが出来た、なども含みますね) さて、trick their way into weddingsですが、trickの持つ辞書的な「いたずら」ではなく、「だます」という意味の方で、呼ばれてもいないのに招待客の振りをして、ということですね。 Why? Simple: to meet women.は、何故だと思いますか? 簡単です：女性に会うためです。 となるわけですが、この、女性に会うためです、は、結婚式ですから花嫁の友達も来ている訳ですね。 そして、その友達の多くは「結婚適齢期」でもあるわけです。 さらに、結婚式に来る友達と言うのは、結婚式と言うものに「浮かれる」わけですね、日本でも同じだと思います。 つまり、ボーイフレンドがほしくなるだろう、自分もウエディングガウンをいつか着たい、という考えられるわけです。 ですから、この二人の男たちは一番格好な「ガールハント」が出来るいい状況なわけです。 ですから、英語の文章を学校英語的に直すと「女性に会うため」となってしまいますが、実際に生きている英語から見れる、理由は：ウエディング合コン・ガールハント・ナンパの為です。ということになるわけです。 これでいかがでしょうか。 分かりにくい点がありましたら、補足質問してください。

ありがとうございます！ 確かに、has had a lot of fun にはいろんな意味がありそうです。 ちなみに、ウェディングガウン、なんですよね。１年くらい前に初めて知って、驚きました。

trick their way into weddings を分解すると、どのように考えられますか？ 下の方に書いたのですが、trick を訂正して、「彼らの進路を（their way）結婚式に入って（into weddings）騙す（trick）」→「結婚式に自分たちを入れ込んで騙す」→「結婚式に(ズルして）入り込む」のような感じで考えていいのでしょうか？ 厳密に知りたいわけではないのですが、こういう文章に慣れていないので、their way,into この辺りが気になってしまいます。お時間がありましたら、教えてください。

Hollywood has had a lot of fun with weddings. ハリウッド映画と映画業界を取り巻くセレブの世界が「結婚式を楽しんできた」。 つまり結婚式がテーマのハリウッド映画がたくさんあるということと、ハリウッドでは豪華カップルの派手な結婚式が多くて、そのたびにセレブも国民もいろんな意味で盛り上がるということの両方を示唆してると思います。 映画のレビューとか、それっぽく訳すなら、 「結婚式をテーマとしたラブコメはハリウッド映画の定番。2005年夏には～」 「映画でもリアルでもホットな結婚式の話題が絶えないハリウッド。2005年夏には～」 などが感覚的に近いかと思いました。

ご回答ありがとうございます！ 「沸いていた・盛り上がっていた」って、いいですね☆ 2つ目の質問ですが、彼らの進路を（their way）結婚式に入って（into weddings）いたずらする（trick）という感じで、結婚式に入り込むといういたずらをする→結婚式にもぐり込む、ということでしょうか。なんとなくわかってきたような感じがします！
