英訳お願いします・・・
こんにちは。 政治に関しての文章を書いているのですが、うまく訳せない文があって困っています。 「所有するという事は、失うことを恐れる第一歩」 さっぱり訳せない・・・OTL 「お金という概念が無ければ、平等さは保たれる」 if there is no notion of money, equality will be kept 「人間の本質の一面」 The side of human nature 誰か、自然な訳を教えてください＞＜ よろしくお願いします。

メモ程度の略式の文なのか、論文等正式の文章なのか、によって単語の拾い方も変わってきますが、まあとりあえず私のフィーリングによる中間的な場合を想定した意訳をやってみます。 「所有するという事は、失うことを恐れる第一歩」 Human beings started to fear loosing when they had started to own the things. 意訳しすぎかもしれません。日本語原文の意味を補足して頂ければ、異なる訳し方もできるかと思います。 「お金という概念が無ければ、平等さは保たれる」 If there were no such thing like money in this world, everybody would be more equally treated. （実際にはこの世にお金が存在しているので、仮定法を使いました。また、もしお金が存在しなかったとしても、完全に平等にはなれない気がしますので若干異訳しています。） 「人間の本質の一面」 The side of human nature のままでも良いと思いますが： one aspect of human being's nature の方がフィットするような気がします。 お役に立てたかどうか解りませんが・・・

こんにちは。 ちょっと誰を対象とした文章なのかあいまいなので、できるだけですが・・・。 One comes to fear in losing it once he takes possession of something. とかでしょうか？ If it were not for the concept of money, the world should be the fair place. これは、仮定法を使った表現が適切と思います。 One aspect of human nature 他の回答者さまと同じです。 と訳せそうです。

質問者の方の日本語訳から判断できる限りでの”意訳”です。 抽象的な概念が含まれるので、質問者の意図と違った訳になっているかもしれませんが。 Once you possess something, you begin to be afraid of loosing it. If there was no concept of money, people could remian equal. An aspect of human nature
