日本語訳をしてみたのですが正しいでしょうか？
知り合いのNativeに以下を日本語にして欲しいと頼まれました。 I hope that this new year in your life will bring you great happiness and fulfilment. 以下のように訳してみたのですが、いまいち自信がないので ご意見、添削をしていただけないでしょうか？ 訳は意訳なのでもっと良い訳があれば教えてください。 「来年は、あなたにとって幸せで願いが成就する一年で ありますよう心よりお祈り申し上げます。」 よろしくお願いいたします。

this new year とあるので、来年の年賀状として書く予定の 文章ではないでしょうか。 「あなたの人生において、今年が、この上ない幸福と充実を（あなたに）もたらしますようにお祈り致します」 あたりはどうでしょ？

直訳と意訳がありますよね。直訳ならば、それで いいと思いますが、日本語として自然なよく使わ れる言い方というものがありますが、その場合だと 「今年はいい年になるといいですね。」とか もっと堅苦しくなると、 「〇〇様のご多幸を心よりお祈りいたします。」 になりますね。知り合いのNativeがどういう場面で その日本語を使うつもりかによります。通常 「あなた」という言葉は、お手紙などでは使い ませんね。特に目上の人に対しては。その辺りで、 そのNativeの方が直訳でいいというのであれば、 yasuさんの書いている通りでいいと思います。

意味が分からない所が多々あります。。。 意訳で結構ですのでヨロシクお願いします。 went you be next to me i will always have the same feeling toward you ..no matter of what happen ... this is how i am and i want you to always feel happy and care ... in the good time and bad ... only happiness can make a better life .. and i will make it come true ..i want too make it come true.

E・M・フォスターの言葉です。 “Did you ever dream you had a friend, Alec? Someone to last your whole life and you his. I suppose such a thing can’t really happen outside sleep.” これをわたしなりに意訳すると、 「ねえアリス、生涯続く友達がいるなんて想像したことあったかい？ぼくは、そんなことは夢の中以外ではおこらないと思うんだ。」 この訳も自信がありませんが、特に引っかかっているのは、 Someone to last your whole life and you his. の部分です。Someone to last your whole life というのは、「生涯友人でいられる誰か」と思うのですが、その後の and you his. という箇所が何を意味しているのかわかりません。 アドバイスがありましたらよろしくお願いします。
