スキャンディスクについて・・・

私のパソコンではないのですが、ウインドウズＸＰでスキャンディスクを実行中に停止して困っています。メッセージは、「CHKDSK is verifying free space (stage 5 of 5)Free space verification is complete」です。 このメッセージが出てからＨＤＤのアクセスランプが消えた状態で３時間以上たち、再起動後も又同じ所で止まったままになっているそうです。スキャンディスクは中止出来ないのでしょうか？又、何か良い方法は無いでしょうか？よろしくお願いします。

windowsXPにはスキャンディスクはないのでチェックディスクですね。 WindowsXPではチェックディスクはご自分で明示的に指定するか、起動する前に、正常終了できないまま電源を切ったか、異常な状態になった場合になった時に起動します。 第五ステージまでにチェックディスクが毎回走るということは使用時に突然電源を切ったりしているようですね。 ハードディスクに論理的か物理的ダメージが発生しているようです。 チェックディスクを何度か走らせて（第５ステージなのでとてつもなく時間は掛かりますが。。）それでも回復しない場合はハードディスクに障害が発生しています。 その場合は、論理的故障か物理的故障か不明なので ＯＳの再インストールで問題が無ければ再インストールで使えますが、再インストールが出来なければハードディスクそのもの交換になります。

　「スキャンディスクを実行中」とのことですが、Win dowsはまだ起動していない状態でしょうか？ 　実は、投稿されているメッセージはスキャンディス クではなくてCHKDSKコマンドのもので、コマンドが終 了すればWindowsは普通に起動するはずです。 　出力されたメッセージはおそらくコマンドの終了を 意味しているので、Windowsが起動しないのはちょっと 良くない状態ですね。 　もしCHKDSKコマンドを強制的に終了させたいときは 「Ctrl + C」を入力し、Enterキーを押してください。 　この後Windowsが起動しない場合は、「win」と入力 してEnterキーを押してみてください。 　改善しない場合、どういう状況になっているかもう 一度補足してください。
