前回分とあまり変わりませんが、以下のとおりお答えします。 （ご指名ありがとうございました。） ＞Firms in which investor is a direct 5% shareholder ＞「投資家が，直接的な5％の持分の株主である企業」 ⇒これでいいと思います。 ＞Firms lying within 5% ultimate control pyramid* of investor ⇒「投資家による最終コントロール（権）5％のピラミッド*内にある企業」。 ＊pyramidには、次の意味があるそうです。 （1）「ピラミッド構造の企業グループ」、（2）「利乗り（もの）」。 上では、一応（1）を想定して訳しました。

添付ファイル文章の which might just as easily の理解が難しく、 分からないです。 might とeasily の関連で 'おそらく～かも' と捉えていいのかどうか分からないです。 just もmight ととの関連で'あるいは、～かもと捉えるのか just as で全く同じように と解釈していいのかわからないです。 どういう構造になっているのか解説お願いします。

添付ファイル文章の An idea ～out clearly .の部分の解釈が難しいです。 I regret to say you で あなたに残念ながらお伝えしなければならないですが、のように解釈しているのですが、 そのあとのan idea を関係代名詞のwhich 節内でどのように理解すれば良いのか理解できないです。 say someone 以降単なる名詞のan idea だけ来て、それを修飾する要素で残りのコンマまでの文章がきていると考えると理解に困ります。 解説お願いします。

宜しくお願いします。 早速ですがこの英文の解釈方法と意味をご教授下さい。 Nothing worth doing ever is. というものなのですが、自分で「これまででやる価値のあるものはない」と直訳してみたのですがそもそも当っているかわかりませんし、これを曲解して「これ以上にやる価値のあるものはない」と捉えたのですが自信がありません。 また文の構造も倒置？のようになっていて本来どのような文がこういう形になっているかについても教えて頂ければ幸いです。 英語にお詳しい方、英語に堪能な方是非ご回答宜しくお願い致します。

的確なご指導を賜っているかと存じます。前後の文脈を申しますと，「閾値モデル」＝「相互所有は捨象して50％なら50％，60％なら60％の所有で他企業の完全支配を見なすので（50％なら50％以上で１，50％未満でゼロ），3階建てのピラミッドを想定し，50％＝閾値とする場合には，末端が50％の3乗＝12.5％の最終持分で，完全支配を遂げていることになります。これが，閾値とピラミッドの階層の関係で，5％迄のブロックを「支配のブロック」と見なすことに繋がる，そういう理屈かと考えられます。もしそうであるなら，最終コントロール権5％のピラミッド内にある企業は全て完全支配下にあるという理解に繋がりもします。ご指導有難うございました。
