Because TV is fun to watch. → 普通に楽しい感じを出せます。 Because TV programs are interesting to us. あるいは ... for us. → 興味や関心を持たせます（お堅い番組などなら特にこの表現） Because TV is really entertaining us. → バラエティー系などこれがいいかも。 以上、ご参考になればと思います。

What do you think? →私は、テレビは我々の生活に必要だと考えている。あなたはどう思うか。 です。 これに対して 「なぜなら、テレビを見ることは面白いから」 という返答は明らかにおかしいです。 (まるで質問者の質問を聞いてない返事ですね。まぁ、たまにこんな回答をする、日本語どころか言葉で会話する能力のない人がいたりします。) #論理構造の問題なので、これは何語であってもおかしい表現になります。 I think TV is necessary in our lives. What do you think? に対して、同様の趣旨で回答するならば、 I think TV is necessary,too. We love TV because watching TV is interesting for us. などというやりとりになるのではないでしょうか。

(2)who do you think is the best player on our team? 参考書によると(2)の英文はwhoがdo you thinkに続く節の主語なので(2)のような語順になり、(1)はそうでないので(2)のような語順にはならないと書いてあります。 しかし僕にはこれの意味が全く分かりません。 (1)What do you think is his job ? - 学生の時に学校で習ったのに使われなくなった英語について
ある人から指摘を受けて What do you think about it? という言い方はしない。 What do you think of it? といいなさい。 しかし、ある人は What do you think about it? の方が正しい英文だと言います。 つまり、米国英語では死語になってしまったのでしょうか？ また、保守的な英国では、What do you think of it?みたいな米国英語はよろしくないというのでしょうか？
