はじめまして この質問を開いてくださりありがとうございます！ 私は先日とあることが切っ掛けで、子供の頃に見ていた海外ドラマを見直す機会がありました。 そのころの思い出が蘇ってきまして、そこに出演されていたアメリカの女優さんにメッセージを送りたいと思いました。 恥ずかしながら質問主は学生のころに勉学、特に英語は全くと言っていいほどしていませんでした。 今になってそのことを悔やみながら英文をgoogle翻訳先生に手伝って貰いながら書いたのですが、正しい文章でないことくらいは私でも分かります。 その間違った文の手直しをここの方達に手伝ってもらえたらと思い、今回この質問を投稿するに至りました。 よろしければご指導のほどよろしくお願いいたしますm(_ _)m 日本語文 ---- こんにちわ 私は日本人のShintaroです 私は貴方をSmallvilleを見て知りました（※Smallvilleは海外ドラマ 日本ではヤングスーパーマンとしてＮＨＫで放送されていた） クロエは私が子供の頃に憧れていた女性でした 私は最近までそのことを忘れて居たが、あることが切っ掛けでSmallvilleのDVDを見ることになりました 当時の思い出が蘇ってきて、貴方の演じるクロエの事が大好きだったことも思い出しました 残念な事にSmallvilleは日本ではシーズン１しか放送されていません（もっと放送していた気がしますが・・・） ですが、私はこれからシーズン１０までＤＶＤを輸入して見るでしょう こんなファンが遠い島国に居るのだということを貴方に伝えたくてメッセージを送りました 突然のメッセージで貴方を驚かせてしまったのではないかと思うと申し訳なく感じます 下手な英語だったと思いますが、これからDVDの英語字幕を理解できるよう英語を勉強していくつもりです。 ----- 英文 ----- hi. I had forgotten about it until recently, it was going to see the DVD of Smallville in the starting point that there. Smallville has not been broadcast only one season in Japan unfortunately.I feel that I was broadcasting more but ... :-o But...I try to watch a DVD to import up to 10 seasons now. I sent the message I wanted to convey to you that it is too far away from this island country fan. I feel sorry and I think that is has it surprised you with a message of a sudden. Hi. I am your big fun, living in Japan. I remember that I was enjoying watching Smallville when I was a small kid. Chloe ,whom you played, was my star at that time. I happened to have a chance to watch Smallville a few days ago. I recalled that I loved Smallville, especially I really loved Chloe. Then, I thought I should watch it again. I intend to watch all season of smallville’s DVDs. I’m afraid that I can purchase only season 1 to 5 in Japan so I decided to procure these DVDs from America. I wrote this messsage because I want you know there is your big fan in such a distant island from your county. Now I am studying English in order to understand Smallvilｌe perfectly. I will watch it again and again. Regards. 誤解があったようですね＾＾； すこしいじってみたので、確認してください。 loveは日本の愛してると違って、けっこう軽く使っても大丈夫です。 おかしな点があれば、また教えてください。

非常にわかりやすくまとめていただきありがとうございます。 Smallvilleの日本での放送自体は地上波ではシーズン１まででしたが、ファンの放送再開の声からCS放送のAXNで 今現在シーズン９まで放送しているようです。 気になったところが２点あったのでそこだけ変えたいです。 ”当時わたしは、クロエみたいになりたいと思っていました。” これは私は男の場合クロエは女性なので少しおかしなニュアンスになってしまうのではないでしょうか？ ”残念ながら日本でDVDが見つけれなかったので、輸入することにしました。” 日本では第1シーズン～第5シーズンまでがレンタル＆発売されているので、ここは書き方 を変えたほうがいいかもしれません。 かなり綺麗にまとめて下さりこのまま彼女のブログにコメントしたいくらいですが、 私は男なのでクロエになりたいというところのニュアンスと、DVDが見つけられない のではなく途中までしか無いということを変えて伝えたいです。 憧れていたという部分を彼女が好きだった という単純な文に置き換える場合lovedだと意味 としては重くなってしまうのでしょうか？子供の"好き"なのでもっとフランクというかlike くらいがいいのかもしれませんが、アメリカ人の感覚としてそこはどうなんでしょうか？ halfway を使って途中までしか見つからなかったと書きたいのですが、その場合 ”I am planning to import DVDs because I unfortunately couldn't find it in Japan.” のどこに挟むと意味が正しく伝わるのでしょうか？ お暇がございましたら、もう少しお付き合いいただけると大変嬉しいです。
