単語力も文法知識も十分お持ちだなと感じますが、受験の英作文問題という視点で見て気が付いたことを・・・ まず、この問題で要求されているのは The problem is thatＳＶ という構文の応用だと思われますので、それを使いましょう それぞれの文については 最初の文 some を使うなら ability は abilities とすべきですが 「具体的ではないがとりあえずあるという前提で（つまりこれが＝何らかの）」という場合は any を使うとよいでしょう ２文目 訳せば「それを生かせるかどうか疑問だ」となっていて設問の日本語とやや離れてしまっているようです また、whether 節内の主語が you （２人称）となっていて、自分を含まない言い方になってしまっています 以上、減点対象の可能性があるところを直すと Everybody has any inborn ability, but the problem is whether we can use it or not. とすればＯＫと思います あと、一般的に設問の日本語が２文（＿＿＿。＿＿＿。）になっていなければ、不自然でないときは１文で書くようにすると要求されている構文がわかりやすいですよ！

質問者様の文章を生かして、 Everybody has some natural ability, but the question is whether you can use it or not. でいいと思います。 inborn ability よりもnatural abilityのword patnershipがよいようです（googleで米政府系site:govで検索すると、 ヒット数は、26：6,650）。

もうすでに十分な回答がでていますので、蛇足と知りつつ・・・、 Everyone has a (natural) gift, but the problem is whether you can make the most of it or not. まず、「才能」ですが、類語の使い分けは、 ability は生まれつきのまたは努力して得た能力一般 talent は特に芸術の分野における先天的な能力 gift は生まれつき備わっていて努力なしで自然に発揮される優れた才能 と考えてください。 「何らかの～」は、不定冠詞 a だけで十分だと思います。 「生かせるかどうか」の「生かす」の部分もいろんな表現がありますが、 ここでは、「最大限に使う、利用する」という意味の make the most of を使ってみました。 どうでしょうか？ 参考になればいいんですが。

生まれながらの才能というのを natural ability とか、一言で talent といいますね。 質問者さんの文を訂正するとすると、 it is a question of whether と of を入れた方がいいでしょう。 参考までに私なら、 Everybody has a talent for something but it's a matter of whether you use it. 直訳でなければ Everybody has a talent for something and it's a matte of how to use it でもいいと思います。 ぐらいにしまね、たぶん。
