向こう側でエラーが起きてるようですから、どうしようもないですね。 認証で落ちてるって事は、未だお金払ってないのですよね？ なら、不幸中の幸いでは？ その手のソフトは入れない方が身の為です。 日本で言う所の「驚速」のような物ですから。（「驚速」の評判見れば末路は判りますよね。） PCの速度が遅いなら、必要なデータのバックアップ取ってリカバリーするのが一番です。 そしてお金かけるなら、メモリを最低限、XPなら768MB、Vistaなら2GBにしておきましょう。（それ未満のメモリだと動作遅くて当たり前。）

JRR Tolkinの著書にこのような文があります。 Of old was an age, when was emptiness, there was sand nor sea, nor surging waves; Unwrought was Earth, unroofed was Heaven when was emptiness,とあるので、sandも無いと思うのですが、何故there was no sand nor sea,ではなく、原文のような文になるのでしょうか？ また、neitherも、notも、noもなくnorを持ってきた場合のニュアンスはどうなるのでしょうか？ よろしくお願い致します。

「There was no vacant seat in the car, so I stood all the way.」 の分詞構文がなぜ 「There being no vacant seat in the car, I stood all the way.」 になるのかがわかりません。 「When she saw me, she smiled brightly.」 という文を 「seeing me, she smiled brightly.」 のように接続詞がある側の文を分詞構文を用いて 「There was no vacant seat in the car, I standing all the way.」 とするのではないのでしょうか？

いつもお世話になってます。 As usualについて教えていただけないでしょうか。 As usual, there will be no charge to join the picnic. このAs usual,省略なしに戻すと As there usually will be. であっていますでしょうか？ 辞書で調べますと、 She was dressed in red as usual = She was dressed in red as she usually was. とありましたので、そのように考えました。 ご教授いただければ幸いです。
