Windows　mail　が突然受信できなくなり、困っています

Windows mail を開こう（受信しょう）したところ、 Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime liblrary　なる窓内に以下のような メッセージが出て受信ができなくなりました。原因と対処法を教えて ください。 Runtime error! Program: C:\Program Files\Windows Mail\WinMail.exe The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more infomaition. OK をクリックすると対処法を探した後、 「メール処理中」を繰り返して、ある場所 XXX/OOO から進みません。 また、XXX を削除しようとしたのですが、探せませんでした。

＃１です。 ＞McAfeeは契約切れで、現在対応できません。 ＞契約更新か新規か他か、いずれにするか検討中です。 これは定義ファイルのアップデートが出来ないだけで、起動と原因と思われる設定箇所の変更などはできないのですか？ 設定変更できない、アンインストールもできないとなると、その現象は収まらないのでは・・・。

ご教示ありがとうございます。お礼が大変遅れて申し訳ありません。まだうまくいきませんので、とりあえずは別メーラーで対処しています。

セキュリティソフトが、McAfeeでしたら、次が参考になりませんか？ http://kikky.net/pc/mcafee_runtime.html Windowsメールも対象になっているようですが・・・。
