W2Kをインストルしたいのですが・・・

先日、友人からFMV6450DX2を２台もらったのでW2Kをインストールしようとしているんですが、インストールを始めたら以下のメッセージが表示されてインストール出来ません。 ***メッセージ*** ***　STOP: 0x0000001E (0xC0000006, 0x804F0E46, 0x00000000, 0x485947E0) KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these step: Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters. Check with your hardware vender for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode. Refer to your Geting Started manual for more in formation on troubleshooting Stop errors. ２台ともこのようなメッセージが表示されるので、マザーボード異常ではないように思えます。 そこでBIOSのUPDATEをしたいのですが、intelのサイトで何をダウンロードしてよいのか、また、W2Kが実際インストール出来るのか教えて頂けないでしょうか。 どうぞよろしくお願いします。

参考 URL に「導入に当たっての留意事項」がありますが、お読みになりましたでしょうか？ 富士通製品に Windows 2000 をインストールする際の留意事項が記載されています。BIOS 設定変更のタイミングなどについても説明がありました。

インストール出来ました。本当にありがとうございました。 「Operating system not found」と表示されていたのは、BIOSでディスクを認識していなかったようでした。 今回の教訓としては、ちゃんとドキュメントを読むと言う事を学びました。 どうもありがとうございました。

ありがとうございます。 読んだつもりが実は読んでなかったみたいでした。m(_ _)m 早速、参考URLに行き説明を読んでFDからW2Kをインストールしました。 BIOSの設定を変更したらインストールは出来た様なんですが、今度は「Operating system not found」と表示されてしまいました。ちなみにFDもCDも抜いた状態です。 どうぞ宜しくお願いいたします。

＞FDからW2Kをインストールしました とのことですが、私は Me から 2000 へのアップグレードをしたことがないので、具体的にどのような作業をなさったのか、よければ教えてください。 FMV6450DX2 の OS は Windows Me ですよね？ Me から Wiondows 2000 へのアップグレードはアップグレードインストールではなく新規インストールでなければならないということが参考 URL に記載されているのですが、FD からのインストールとはどういうことでしょうか？ Operating system not found が表示されるということは、 ・BIOS 設定が間違っている ・BIOS 設定変更のタイミングが間違っている ・Windows 2000 が正常にインストールされていない ・HDD が故障している のいずれかが原因だと思います。 確認ですが、＃3 の参考 URL に従って「詳細(Advanced)」メニュー「プラグアンドプレイ対応OS(Plug and Play OS)」項目を 「いいえ(No)」に設定してから Windows 2000 をインストールしたら Operating System not found になってしまったということでしょうか？ ブートディスクの順番と省電力設定に関する設定はどうなっていますか？

お礼が遅くなり申し訳ありませんでした。 私の場合は、Win98からのバージョンアップと言うか新規インストールと考えた方がよいと思います。 手順としては、こちらのホームページを参考にしながらブートFDを作成します。 http://homepage2.nifty.com/winfaq/w2k/boot.html#952 そして、こちらで教えてもらったBIOSの設定を変更とブートをFDにしてBIOSの設定を書き換えます。 そうすると、W2Kのインストールが始まります。 この手順で私はW2Kをインストールしました。

この問題は僕のBIOSの設定変更でディスクが認識されていませんでした。 BIOSの設定を変更してW2Kをインストールしたら成功しました。 ご迷惑をお掛けしました。

１．BIOSを起動してビデオをオンボードに設定。 ２．メモリやPCIを拡張している場合ははずす。 ３．マザーボードメーカーがわかれば型式からBIOSはDLできます。

まず、BIOSでビデオをオンボードに設定する場所がいまいち判りませんでしたので、そのままにしメモリの増設分をはずし実行しましたが、W2kのインストールは出来ませんでした。 次にBIOSのDLですが、マザーボードは富士通製でしたので富士通のサイトでFMV6450DX2のBIOSをダウンロードしようと思ったのですが、どこを探してもFMV6450DX2のBIOSは無かったので仕方なくFMV6450DX3シリーズをダウンロードして作業したんですが、BIOSのバージョンは1.08のままです。 これが現状の進捗状況です。 どうしたものか困っています。 どうぞ宜しくお願いします。

富士通のサイトに関連ページがあります。それによると、Windows 2000 Professional で動作確認が取れているようです。留意事項と必要なドライバもありますのでご覧ください。 http://www.fmworld.net/biz/fmv/win2k/menu/fmvcs-s.html#1998C002 また、エラーメッセージにあるように、ハードディスクの空き容量が少ないとインストールできません。その点も確認してみてください。
