'in the midde'の訳
（映画で）人々が見るのは'in the middle' of everything happningとあります。 in the middleは真ん中とか最中とかだとおもうのですがすべての出来事の最中をみる、、訳がよくわかりません。適切な言い方をご指導ください。よろしくお願いします。

IMAX劇場は、ご存知とはおもいますが、巨大スクリーンで３次元映像を楽しむためのものです。下に大阪の天保山の劇場を紹介しておきます。このようなものですから、まさに、（映画の中で）物事がおこっている真ん中で見る、という感覚です。（特殊めがねをかけた）自分の前に物体がニュッと出てきたりします。

> 'in the middle' of everything happening この場合のhappeningは、「出来事」という名詞ではなく、動詞のhappenのing形です。この場合のhappenの主語はeverythingで、文全体の主語とは異なりますので、everythingが主語であることを示すためにof everything happeningの形にする必要があります。意味は、「あらゆることが起こっている」という意味で、全体では直訳すると「スクリーンを観ている人たちは、あらゆることが起こっている只中にいる」 なお、この場合のeverythingは目的格です(所有格であるeverything'sの形にすることもあります)。

こんにちは。 Some towns have IMAX theatres. These have very big screens,and the people watching are 'in the middle'of everything happning. （イギリスの）いくつかの町には IMAX映画館があります。 IMAX映画館のスクリーンはとても大きく、観客は、映像で起こるすべてのことのただ中に投げ込まれます。 俗に言う「臨場感」のニュアンスを表現した言い方だと思います。 ちなみに、the people watchingは、the people who are watching の意味でしょう。

in the millde ofは ～の最中、真っ最中、 ～の渦中にとか、～の中心で ですね。 すべての出来事が起こっているその渦中で・・・という直訳ですよね？映画の内容にもよるので、そのタイトル全体の訳は意訳になるのではないでしょうか。 「壮絶な出来事の中で(真っ最中に)人々が目にしたもの」とかどうですか。 「日々の出来事のなかで人々が見たもの」とか 台風の目の中にいた人たちの話なら(笑)あるのか？だけど 「その嵐の中心にいた人々が見たもの」とか 「人々が見るのは」というのはwhat peolpe see isとか？そういうことですか？isでは一般論にもなるし、wasならある一つの場面にもなります。そこの部分も重要です。あと映画の内容も。。 補足を・・・
