卒展は英語に訳すと？
よろしくお願いします。履歴書を作っています。 美大などの卒業生の作品展、「卒展」はどう英訳すべきでしょうか？ 「最優秀賞」は"Highest Award"あるいは"Grand Prize"もしくは"Best Award"、 「新人賞」は"New Artist Award"、 「知事賞」は"Governor's Prize" でよいでしょうか？

＞＞＞ 「卒業制作展」はいかがでしょうか？ あ、そーか。 せっかく考えてたのに忘れてた。（笑） graduation work exhibition か graduation work exhibit で良さそうですが、 exhibition だと、大規模な展示会・見本市のような感じですので、中・小規模だったら exhibit のほうですかね。

http://service.okwave.jp/okwave/info/okwave/index.html#info_1017 表彰制度OKWaveアワードが開始になるようですね(ベストアンサー 0件 回答が評価された数 0件の私には取りあえず関係のない制度です)。 ●月間マスターランキング ●みんなに評価されているで賞 ●期待の新人賞 ●心からサンキュー賞 ●おもしろくってOKで賞 ●月間カテゴリーマスターランキング これらは有意義な制度でしょうか？ 個人的に特に気になるのは「みんなに評価されているで賞」です。 このサイトは具体的な根拠や解決策案が書かれているかよりも、観覧者の意見に合致するかによって評価が押されている事が多いように思います。根拠や解決策案が書かれていないのに評価されているが押されている、そんな回答は良く見ます。 唯の想像で回答が書かれていると思われる回答すらありますが押されていたりします。また、批判的な回答が評価される傾向がありませんか。 おそらく、実際に意義があるか(根拠が書かれているか解決案が書かれているか)を問わず、多数派または”厳しい人を気取っただけ”そんな回答をした人が賞を取りやすくなるのではないか・・・と思います。 「心からサンキュー賞」は月間でのお礼をした数とお礼を貰った数の合計ですから、ようするに回答数と質問数が多ければ狙える賞ですよね。 これはどうなんでしょうか。 そもそもお礼をした数と貰った数を合わせるというのが何故か良くわかりません。あまり深い意味はないんでしょうか。 おもしろくってOKで賞 OKWaveスタッフが独自の基準で面白い回答を選ぶそうですね。アンケートから選ぶのでしょうか。

The festival is also an important marketplace, bringing together filmmakers and distributors looking for new releases. In 2013, 1420 films were shown at the Marché du Film (Film Market). Movies also receive free publicity from the event’s news coverage. Nearly 4000 reporters from 86 countries covered the festivities in 2013. Cannes encourages the growth of filmmaking, with directors like Martin Scorsese putting on master classes. Also, the festival awards a yearly prize―the Caméra d’Or (Golden Camera)―to the best debut entry. Plus, numerous student films are shown, helping young moviemakers get a foot in the door of a tough business. There’s certainly a lot to see and do during the Cannes Film Festival. Most importantly, film lovers can watch movies which are funny, sad, exciting, and thoughtful. With all the attention the festival receives, it’s no wonder filmmakers are eager to win one of its prestigious awards.
