メールが受信できません

A message was sent to you that was returned to the sender(bounced) because it would have caused your mailbox quota to be exceeded. と言うメッセージが誰かから送られてくるたびに受け取ります。メッセージが沢山あるから消せというのはわかっていますが、いくらメーラー上のメッセージを削除してもこのメッセージを受け取ってしまいます。 早急に対処法をお願いいたします。

サーバ上のメールボックス（あなたのメールを蓄えておく領域）が不足していのだと思います。 メーラ上のメッセージを削除しても、クライアント（あなたのPC）から削除されているだけで、サーバ上のメールは消されていないのだと思います。 メーラの設定で、サーバ上のメールを削除するように設定してみて下さい。 Outlook Expressならば、アカウントのプロパティの詳細設定タブに「サーバーにメッセージのコピーを置く」がチェックされていると思います。ここの「サーバから削除する」をチェックして日数を設定します。このダイアログを閉じた後メールを受信すれば、設定した日数より古いメールがサーバから削除されますので、メールボックスに空きができると思います。

サーバー上の削除では駄目でしたが、私のプロバイダーの容量増加設定で何とか解決することができました。便利な情報ありがとう御座いました。

＃１です。＃２さんが説明されているので、一言だけですが＾＾； 私は、OE使用で、ツールバーのツール→アカウント→プロバティ→詳細設定（タブ）にある「コピーを置く」にはチェックを入れていません。 つまりはコピーを置くようにしていないということです。 コピーを数日間置きたい場合は、チェックを入れて日数を設定できますね＾＾ また、ご使用のメールがどこのものかわからないので、例としてYahooの場合。 Yahooのメールサーバーにネット上で行きます。 そこにある必要ではないメールを削除します。 こういったことなのですが＾＾；
