メールBOXがいっぱいになりました！対処方法は？

メイルボックスの容量が10MBで、その容量一杯にメイルが溜まって、もうこれ以上、メイルを溜められません(受信できません)ということです。 To fix this problem, delete some messages from your mailbox →この問題を解決する為には、幾つかのメッセイジを貴方のメイルボックスから削除してください。

ＯＳ １０．２．８で、標準の「Ｍａｉｌ」を使っています。 今朝、メールをチェックしたら、 「ATTENTION: Your mailbox quota is full !!」 というタイトルの、意味のわからないメールが３通届いてしまいました。 英語の部分と、文字化けしている部分とがあります。 こちらでアドバイスをいただき、「環境設定」の「アカウント」の「編集」から「特殊なメールボックス」のところの設定を変更しました。 「送信済みメッセージ」は１ケ月後、「迷惑メール」はメール終了時、一番下の「ゴミ箱」のところは「削除したメッセージを別のフォルダに移動する」にチェックを入れたままにして、設定は、Ｍａｉｌ終了時に変更しました。 しかし、設定を変更しても、まだ 「ATTENTION: Your mailbox quota is full !!」 というメールが届いてしまうので、困っています。 どうしたらいいのでしょうか…。 困っています。 よろしくお願いいたします。
