She has a vocabulary of 250 words and understands 3,000 more - she has been brought up [ ] to English from birth.
1. has listened
2. listened
3. listening
4. to listen
She was brought up to behave politely.
The decision _________ Ms.Gupta the new chief financial officer was unanimously approved by the board of directors.
解説にはMs.GptaとThe new chief officerの目的語はが2つはいるのでto makeを選択し、能動的に使うと書かれていました。
You'd let me do it. Of the submitted Games that I ordered and I would if I had the money I sent to you after you ship the game.
Typically, the same farm may have a different pattern the next year of which crops are grown in which fields.(一般的に、同じ農場では、次の年にどの作物をどの農地に育てるかについては異なるパターンになっている)
the same farm may have a different patternとthe next year of which crops are grown in which fieldsの接続がわかりませんpatternとthe next yearは何故つなげられるのでしょうか?
またthe next year of which crops..........
A new student came to my class from America today, and she said to me that she had been studing Japanese since last month.
She said that she has been studing
そこで、What book's open?
Physics professor: Some scientists claim that superheated plasma in which electrical resistance fails is a factor in causing so-called "ball lightning." If this were so, then such lightning would emit intense light and, since plasma has gaslike properties, would rise in the air. However, the instances of ball lightning that I observed were of low intensity and floated horizontally before vanishing. Thus, superheated plasma with failed electricl resistance is never a factor in causing ball lighting.
The physics professor's conclusion follows logically if which one of following is assumed?
a) Superheated plasma in which electrical resistance fails does not cause types of lightning other than ball lightning.
b) The phenomena observed by the physics professor were each observed by at least one other person.
c) Ball lightning can occur as the result of several different factors.
d) Superheating of gaslike substances causes bright light to be emitted.
e) All types of ball lightning have the same cause.
Is there something to eat?
Is there something to drink?
I’ll report this to my boss and come by the venue to deliver your items by 8 o’clock tonight.

They(theoretician) are convinced that experimets are needed only to verify the results of
their theoretical calculations even though in reality everything is the other way around : laws
are established experimentally and only then do theoreticians explain them.
We have lived with it for half a century, and still what happened that day in Dallas is shocking beyond almost anything else in American history-by shocking, I mean it hits like a blast of electrical current and stupefies.
One minute the President of the United States is smiling and waving. "Mr. President, you can't say Dallas doesn't love you" Nellie Connally, wife of the Texas governor, calls from the limousine jump seat.

Otherwise, I become lost and confused, and things come up that I should have known about but was thinking were way way off;
この文章の、but was thinking were way way off;がわかりません。
but以降のwas thinking were way way offに至ってはもはや呪文にしか見えません。
