Rock With Youはいい曲ですね。 個人的に一番好きなのはMondo GrossoがBoAをフィーチャリングで起用してヒットした『Everything Needs Love』ですかね。ハウス好きなもので・・・（笑）

アメリカ人の彼にI'm in love with you. But not fall in love yet. と言われました。 ニュアンスの違いが分かりません。 また、これを言われたあと、Did I scare you?と言われました。これは何故でしょうか？ あとI love youは結構リレーションシップが始めの方でも言いますか？ I love youは結婚したい時に、初めて言われると友達に言われました。 人によるんでしょうか？

タイトル通りなのですが、loveと be in love with の違いが分かりません。 loveは恋愛でなくても使うこと、またbe in love with～の方は恋愛でないと使わないことは分かります。また、"I love you."はネイティブの人にとってとても重たい言葉だということも分かります。でも、これらを恋愛の場面で使うときのニュアンスの違いが分からないのです。 何となく、自分の中の認識としては love：両思いのときに使う（気持ちが相互的） be in love with:片思いの時に使う（気持ちが一方的） みたいな認識がありました。実際に辞書をひいてみるとbe in love withは「恋をしている、惚れている」みたいな意味で載っていることが多いので、「一時的なのぼせ上がり」みたいな感じに思えます。 が、be in love withも片思いでなくても使うことがあるみたいなので、混乱しています。 これが一度に出てくる文章、例えば He surely loved Mary when he married her, but he'd been in love with Nicole. みたいな文章では、どういう訳が適当なのでしょうか？ 「メアリーのことは（友達としては）大好きだったけど、（恋愛対象としては）二コールの方が好きだった」みたいな訳でいいのでしょうか？ この2つの違いをご存知の方がいらっしゃいましたら、教えてください。
