Apacheをインストールしたのですがスタートのプログラムメニューに表示されない。

windowsNTのOSの中に apache1.3.12 win32をインストールしました。 結論はできませんでした。 http://localhost/をいれてもブラウザーに表示されることはありませんでした。 原因に突き止めて疑わしい所は１つありました。 apacheを起動させた際に閉じ方が分からず右上の×ボタンをクリックしてけしました。 次回apacheを起動させた時に次のようなメッセージとともに表示されるようになりました。 [Fri Aug30 12:12:40 2002] [warn] pid file c:/httpd/logs/httpd.pid overwritten-- Unclean shutdown of previous Apache run? Apache/1.3.12 (Win32) running... 上記の内容はあまりうまくいかなかったと言うことなのかと思いました。 参考書を見ながら進めているのですが、 スタートからプログラムのメニューの中apacheの名前がありませんでした。 仕方がないのでインストールしたドライブから直接開きました。結局開いたのはよいのですが、とじかたが分かりませんでした。 そのせいで上記のような状態になってしまったのだと思います。 スタートからプログラムを表示させる方法 アパッチをうまく動かせる方法などのアドバイスをいただけないでしょうか？お願いします。

apache1.3.12 win32と言うソフトがどんなソフトかわかりませんが、私はプログラムに表示させたいソフトは以下のようにしています。 ただし、OSはMeなのでNTでも出来るかわかりません・・・ そのソフトが実際にインストールされているフォルダに行く→exeファイルを探して右クリック→出てきたメニューから「ショートカットの作成を選択」→出来たアイコンを「スタート」までドラッグさせ、ドラッグ状態を保ちながらそのままプログラムの中の好きな場所で離す。 もし質問内容を外してたらごめんなさい。

どのような参考書を見ているのか分かりませんが、もう少し基本的な事を勉強した方がいいでしょう。 OS然り、Apache然り。 とりあえず、こんなサイトを紹介します。 Apacheを触ってて、ここを見ていないようでは、駄目すぎです。

  • サーバが突然再起動した原因調査

    サーバ構築初心者です。 AWS で redhatをインストールし、Apacheをソースから入れるまではOKなのですが、 肝心のWeb(public DNSで)ブラウザでアクセスできません。 何が間違ってるのかご教授願えないでしょうか。 (1) AWS EC2 で 80番ポートを空ける Instance の Status Checks も 「2/2 checks passed」となっている事を確認 (2) Apache のプロセスを確認 ps aux | grep apache apache xxxx 0.0 0.3 xxxxxx xxxx ?   • スタートメニューのプログラムが多すぎて・・・

    WIN９８は使用しています。 スタート→プログラムで表示されるリストが多すぎるので、横に２列に表示させたいのですが。 WIN９５とかでは出来たような気がするのですが？ 私の気のせいでしょうか？？ よろしくお願いします。
