動作中にブルースクリーンが出てPCが止まります
2004年2月に購入したDELLのXPS Gen2を使用しています。 最近、ネットゲームに接続するとブルースクリーンが出て止まるようになりました。長くても１時間程度、 早ければログイン後数十秒で落ちてしまいます。エラー報告では、ビデオデバイスドライバのエラー、 または不明なデバイスドライバのエラーという表示が出ます。 ドライバの更新やデフラグ、エラーチェック、windowsの上書きインストールなど色々試しましたが、 症状が改善されません。 パーツの交換、最悪ＰＣ買い替えも視野には入れていますが、他に試してみることはないものかと・・・ どうか知恵をお貸しください＞＜。 尚、ブルースクリーンで表示されるエラーは以下のものです。 Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message. disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.Try Changing video adapters. Check with your hardware vender for any BIOS updates. メモリの故障が疑われます。 メモリは増設していませんか？ 増設した方のメモリが故障していると、最初から付いているメモリの使用量を超えるとブルースクリーンになります。（経験あり） memtest86+でメモリチェックを行ってみてください。 エラーが出たらメモリを1枚だけにしないと、どちらが故障しているかわかりません。 memtest86+の使い方 http://members.at.infoseek.co.jp/stereo/86plus.html

Windowsの上書きインストールではなく、新規インストールしてみてください。 STOPエラーで0x0000007Eが表示されるということはドライバ関係のトラブルが考えられます。 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330182/ja http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/321637/ja ディバイスドライバを確認してみて、わからないようであればWindowsの新規インストールを試してみてください。

ハード関係チェックしてみたところ、やはりそちらでエラーが検出されました。ＯＳのクリーンインストールは購入以来初めてやりましたが、バックアップの方法やらリカバリの方法やら、いろいろ勉強になってしまいました。 これから交換用の合うパーツ探してみます。ありがとうございました。
補足
ドライブをフォーマットして再インストールしてみましたが、１日経ったらまた同じエラーが出るように・・・・ＯＳではなくてハードの問題のようです。

私も去年同様の状態を経験しました。 私は富士通のノートパソコンでしたが、インターネット接続中（例えばyahooのホームページ閲覧中）に突然ブルーバックの表示が出て強制的に再起動になり、また再びナットにつなぐと同じ現象になっていました。 ネットをつなげずにエクセルやワードをする分には何も変わったことにはなりませんでした。 そしてある日、いつものように再起動を繰り返したあげく、 Beginning dump of physical memory Dumping physical memory to disk:○○ で○○の数字が37で止まってしまいました。 （１年たってもこの数字は覚えています！） 仕方がなく富士通のサポートセンターに相談すると、 「xpでブルーバック画面がでるのはかなり深刻な状態です。早急にリカバリを行うことをおすすめします。」 と言われ、去年のクリスマスイブに一人でパソコンと格闘しながらリカバリしました。 一応サポートセンターに相談してみたらどうでしょうか？ まあ、たぶん事務的にリカバリしてくれとしかいわれないでしょうけどね。

これでダメならサポートセンターに電話してみようと、ＯＳクリーンインストールしてみましたが・・・やはりダメでした。何度もエラー発生して文字通り１日がかりで格闘するハメに。 結局、メモリのエラーが出ているのでパーツ交換でやってみようと思います。アドバイスありがとうございました。

購入後のメモリ増設はしていませんでしたが、教えていただいたソフト＆ＰＣのハード診断プログラムを確認したところ、メモリからエラーが検出されました。 使用しているのは１Ｇ（５１２ＭＢ×２）デュアルチャネルＤＤＲ－ＳＤＲＡＭメモリです。素直にメモリ買い換えたほうがよさそうです＾＾； どうもありがとうございました。
