自動詞と他動詞について教えて下さい。
Let's wait for him.
まずこの文について質問があります。
(1)動作動詞の現在形は現在の習慣、過去から未来に渡り繰り返される動作を表すため、一回限りの動作を表す時には使えない。と言う決まりがあるのに、この文は文法上okなんですか?
(2)Let's wait for him.
I met him.
何故、waitには前置詞が必要で、metには前置詞がいらないのですか?
waitが自動詞で、metが他動詞だからですか?
《待つ≫には本来目的語が不必要で、目的語をとる為に前置詞が必要、《会う≫には目的語が元々必要だからですか?
