be動詞と一般動詞を混同してしまう人にどう教えればいいでしょうか。
たとえばhe is go schoolのような形で書いてしまうことが多いです。
he was readingはokなのにhe was goはなぜダメ？
というまだ理解が得られていないお子さんです。
どのようにわかりやすく教えれば理解が得られるでしょうか。

I researched for the word using the dictionary.
ということをネイティブから言われました。
using は何？って聞いたところ、gerund といわれ、動名詞ということがわかりましたが、
文型がわかりません。
I researched for the word だけだと、 S + V だと思うのですが、
using（名詞の役割）がはいってくることで、どのように文型を整理すればよいのか。。。

の上手な訳し方がわかりません
ワンガリマータイさんのmottainaiの話の途中ででてきたのですが単語単語はなんとなくわかるんですけど、この文だけ上手にまとめられなくて困ってます。
彼女は世界が好きで 利益なものを無駄に浪費しない？ってことなんでしょうか？

I agree with the idea that the law to profibit smoker from smoking on streets should be made.
Smoking is bad effect not only for smoker but also for people around smoker. If you smok on streets, you do harm for other people. No matter how careful they are about their health,they are forced to get bad effect for their health.

NHKのテキスト「Trad Japan」の和紙(Title)の中の英文の一節ですが、
Once it has been turned into pulp, it is pounded to loosen the fibres.
の箇所を、説明文では、「柔らかくした皮を叩いて繊維をほぐします」を簡単に訳してあります。
解らないのは、
１．Onceの訳し方と、
２．現在完了を用いている点です。
it は the bark of the paper mulberry（こうぞ）を意味します。
前半を無理して訳してみると「こうぞの樹皮がパルプにされるときは（過去から今に亘って、いつも）」
とでも訳すのでしょうか。
教えて下さい。
