フォーマット後にOSをインストールできません。

少し前からXPを起動すると「システムは深刻なエラーから回復しました。」と表示されてすぐに再起動し、以後それを繰り返すといった具合になったのでHDDをフォーマットしました。そこまでは特に変わったことはなく正常でした。しかしXP(SP2)のインストール中に○○○○をコピーできませんと表示されてセットアップが中断してしまいます。しかも、そのファイルが不特定で1回目では○○○だったのが2回目だと×××となったりします。それらのファイルをスキップしてセットアップを続けるとWindowsのプロダクトキーを入力した少し後ぐらいに A problem hes been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. ＨＤＤそのものがだめなのでは。 フォーマットできるからといって、ＨＤＤが正常である保証はありません。

やっぱそうなんですかねー ST3160021A (160GB U100 7200)で購入6ヶ月ぐらいなのですが・・・

インストール時にシステムファイルを、スキップした為にエラーが起こるのでは メモリの一部が壊れてる可能性も考えられます メモリチェック出来るフリーソフト「Memtest86」を、紹介されている日本語サイトのＵＲＬを、入れておきます
