SunBlade100からcdブート可能なDVDドライブを探しています。 TOSHIBAのDVDドライブを入手したので、Bladeに装着し、 OSのインストールを試みましたが、"boot cdrom"で固まりました。 PLEXTOR(プレクスター)製のドライブがいいという情報を見つけましたが、 どのモデルでもOKなのかも定かではない状態です。 何か情報がありましたら、宜しくお願いします。

Linux 100% Vol.7 付属DVD(２００９年春購入）から HDDへのインストールができません。 DVDからインストールのアイコンをクリックしてHDDの パーティションを選んで、インストールボタンを押すと インストール画面になりインストールが始まりますが、 やもりの絵が黒くなっていって進行状況がわかりますが なんどもやもりの絵が白くなって、また黒く変化していき いっこうにインストールが終わりません。 DVDの調子が悪いのかご教授ください。 使用環境 e-yama STRAIGHT PC KDC26GDM Celeron(R) 2.60GHz 1.49 GB RAM ドライブ：C,D,E,F Fの２９GBのドライブをJaris用に開放しました。

solaris10でipfilterを設定しようと思うのですが、ネットを調べると Solaris10では「IP Filter」がインストールされるが、デフォルトでは無効である為有効にする。 まず、/etc/ipf/pfil.apファイルから設定したいインタフェースのコメントを解除する。 とあるのですが、そもそも/etc/ipf/配下にはipf.confしかありません。 自分でe1000g0 -1 0 pfilで作成し svcadm restart pfil実行後、再起動したのですが Solaris# ifconfig e1000g0 modlistで表示されません。 なぜでしょうか？ 教えて頂ければと思います。

Solaris9をシングルユーザモードで立ち上げた際に参照するPATHが記述された設定ファイルはどこにあるのでしょうか？ suコマンド時で参照しているのは/etc/default/suのようですが、シングルユーザーモードの時も同じものを参照しているのでしょうか？ 分かる方いらっしゃいましたらご教示ください。

いつもお世話になっております。 solaris10の端末にrloginやtelnetにて接続していますが スペックが遅いせいか rloginやtelnetにてログインできるようになるまで 数分の時間を要します。 何か設定があるのでしょうか？ ただ単にスペックが遅いのでしょうか。 Blade150 650MHzだったと。solaris10です。 rloginやtelnet ログインしてからsuになろうとしても 数分かかります。 アドバイスをいただければ幸いです。 よろしくお願いいたします。

MRTGデータをバックアップするサーバの移行（サーバB→C）をしていますが、 MRTGデータを取得して圧縮した時の容量の差を疑問に思っています。 なぜか２倍になってしまいます。 解凍するとデータは同じ容量です、 データを取得するShellはまったく同じものを使用していますし、 取得するデータの内容も変わらないと思います。 データ圧縮の差はOSの差、tar,gzipパッケージの差、ハードの差？ 何が原因なのでしょうか？ 勉強不足で申し訳ありませんが、教えて頂けたら幸いです。 よろしくお願いします。 MRTGサーバAのデータをサーバBでバックアップすると約50MB（tar.gzで固める）⇒解凍すると約200MB MRTGサーバAのデータをサーバCでバックアップすると約100MB（tar.gzで固める））⇒解凍すると約200MB サーバ情報 サーバA　MRTGツールにてデータ取得　Red Hat Enterprise5.3 サーバB　MRTGデータバックサーバ　SunOS 5.10 サーバC　MRTGデータバックサーバ　SunOS 5.9

C言語で Solaris9のmakefile、ソースをそのまま利用し Solaris10上でコンパイル可能でしょうか？ コンパイルした所、 -------------------------- aaa.mk:構文エラー 行 10: '(' unexpected -------------------------- というエラーが出ましたが、 Solaris10向けにmakefileを見直さないと行けないのでしょうか？

Solaris9のCでコンパイルした実行ファイルを FTPのアスキーモードでUSBメモリに取得し、 それを一旦Windowsに格納しました。 そのファイルをUSBメモリを通して、Solaris10にコピーし、 実行した所「プログラムファイル:実行できません」 のメッセージが出力されて実行できません。 1.一旦、Windowsに格納した事で、文字コード等の関係で 　ファイルが壊れたりするのでしょうか？ 2.solaris9からsolaris10で互換性が取れないのでしょうか？ 3.それ以外の理由があるのでしょうか？
