The air, cool on my face after the heat of the great fire in the small room, blew out of the gathering darkness, full of those promises that such lands seem always to offer to those that leave walls and roof at about this hour, for hills skies and horizons.
'My dearest David'
'A cold coming i had of it.Penelope drove fast and kept her eyes grimly ahead, so and so------
ある翻訳家が a cold coming I had of itを「冷え冷えとした気持ちで来ました」と訳しています。
11月16日の「'If Grandpa had died in the war, would I still exist?'」
There are always interesting people wandering in this area of Whitehall. We spot David Cameron. He spends a good 10 minutes glad-handing startled marchers. To be fair, he seems to be fairly popular among the veterans, and gets several large cheers from various groups. Ten minutes later, a little flurry of security accompanies Princes Edward and William as they walk from the Cenotaph, through Downing Street, to Horseguards. They are wearing Disneyesque red capes and huge, dangly swords. William just about manages to carry the look off, but Edward looks not unlike a pantomime dame.
William just about manages to carry the look off, の一部 carry the look off の意味をご教示ください。
IHT(インターナショナル・ヘラルド・トリビューン)紙のコラムからです。 タイトルは「A few words for the happy couple」。
A good shingle for the new administration to hang out, rather than The New Covenant or A Fair Exchange or English Spoken Here, would be Keep Seat Belt Buckled. Happy days are not here and the sky above is not clear.
One bright light in the marquee is Michelle Obama, that witty, jumpy woman with the quicksilver smile who said, "How does Barack prepare for a debate? He just talks to me and he's ready." The good mother who said, "People ask me how I am, and I say, I'm only as good as my most sad child." Come January, we will have a president whose wife calls him Baby. Good for you, Mama. And now she becomes America's No. 2 celebrity, the object of giddy curiosity.
上記文中の "People ask me how I am, and I say, I'm only as good as my most sad child."
「People ask me how I am, and I say, I'm only as good as my most sad child」。
With a Butch Cassidy grin, he told me that he pictured his epitaph being: "Here lies Paul Newman, who died a failure because his eyes turned brown."

「feel in my heart」は言うと思うのですが(?)
(A senior Palin campaign aide told CBS News' Scott Conroy that the governor's foreign policy experience was atmospheric, akin to the way someone from Miami might obtain a feel for Latin America. "It is very much being able to look off the tip of Alaska," the aide said."Metaphorically, I'm talking about.")
It is very much being able to look off the tip of Alaska.

Hotel limousine charge at RM170nett for Citra car per car per way.
Fast-forward to the present and my life, like most of our lives, is positively overflowing with gadgets - laptops, mobile phones, sat-navs, digital TV. I've just gone on to Facebook (or Crackbook as it should be called, it's so addictive) and my wife is complaining that I spend all day hunched over the laptop. I pretend that I'm working but I'm not really, I'm sort of cyber-grazing while my dogs go unwalked and my kids go unfed. This, therefore, is my life. So when I get a call from the people at the magazine you are holding asking me whether I'd be interested in writing an article about living for seven days without any gadgets invented in the past 25 years, I go all cold down the back of my spine (a bit like someone suddenly mentioning that you seem to drink an awful lot: it's suddenly out there and, although it's your worst nightmare, it also feels like a weird lifeline has been thrown to you).
上記文章中の it's suddenly out there and, although it's your worst nightmare, it also feels like a weird lifeline has been thrown to you の訳をお願い致します。
