現在形とは現在を中心として過去から未来に広がりをもつ時制だと自分は認識しております。であれば、過去の（例えば２００５年の４月９日から）今まで（２００６年の４月９日）までopenの状態であるということが続いているという意味にはなりませんか？be動詞はそういう性質がないのでしょうか？

参考書ではShe(S) came(V) running(C)という解説がなされているのですが、SVCをS＝Cという理解で考えると、上の文をSVCと分類するのは無理なような気がするのですが。端的に、She(S) came(V) running(M(Vの説明))という考え方ではいけないのでしょうか。
