比喩が難しくてわかりません

Ｇです。 補足質問を読ませてもらいました. 遅くなってすみませんでした. ではいきましょう. ＞「so to speak」ってどういう意味でしょうか。 これはよく比ゆを言った後に使われる表現なんですね. ですから、「言って見れば」とか、「比ゆ的に言えば」と言うフィーリングのときに言う言い方です. 違う比ゆ的に言えば、I feel I had the last drop of drip coffee, so to speak 「コーヒーメーカーからでる最後の一滴のコーヒーを飲んでしまった読もう、言って見ればそんなところかな」とか、I feel I'm on the super highway to the top of my life but my car just used up the last galon of gas, so to speak.と言うような言い方もできるわけですね. ＞「i've had my share」、ここが全くわかりませんでした。 これは＃３のcromeさんがおっしゃった説明が大変いいものだと思います. shareが自分に割り当てられた分、と言う意味ですから、いい事も悪い事もこの町が与えてくれる分はもう自分のものにした、だから、これ以上ない、と言う事ですね. ＞it's time / to be where / the action is と区切るのですか？to be / where the action isですか？ よく私のことを知っていますね. ＜ｇ＞ it's time / to be where the action isと区切りたいですね。 日本語で言うと、今が其の時です/アクションがあるところにいるのは.となります. where the action isとしてよく使われるのですが、このactionは活動でいいのですが、「活気のあること」の方がフィーリングがでていると思います. 小さい町と較べ、money, jobs, people, business, opportunityなどのカテゴリーでもっと活気のあるところと言いたいわけですね. My boyfriend has always been upfront with me about not wanting children. We discussed it once in depth pretty early on in the relationship and we’ve been together for nearly 12 years now.
