「あなたが（制作の）途中でみんなにいつ最初のカットを見せるのか、Wadeがグレイのパジャマを着た男なのかどうか、などいくつか懸念があったよ。Larry, 彼は（撮影）セットの中でいい演技をしたよ。でも彼はmo-cap スーツ（実際の人の動きをモデリングしてCG化するための撮影用特殊スーツ）でこそ優秀なやつなんだ、あるいはプレビズ（絵コンテではなくCGで行う映画のスクリプトのシミュレーション）とかそんな様なもの。みんな心配し始めるよ。」 映画の撮影に関しての話と思います。 過去形と現在形が入り乱れているところに要注意で、最初の was some concern は”いくつか懸念があった”と言う過去形なのに対して、次のwhen以下が現在形。まだおこっていないこと、人びとに見せると言うこと、Wadeがどう言ういでたちで出てくるのか、それを、以前心配したと言うこと。最終的には最後に"people start to worry" 「人々が心配し始める」なので、まだ見せていないけれどまさにこれから皆、見たことによって心配し始めるぞ。つまり、だから俺は前に心配だって言ったんだ。と言う感じかと思います。 Larryに関しては、did a great job なので、既に彼のアクションは撮り終わってまあまあ悪くなかった。その次のhe's still a big guy in a mo-cap suitですが、ここが現在形。a big guyはここでは俗語的にできるやつと訳しました。つまり彼は、mo-cap suitで演技するのがうまい。ある意味、セットなんかで演技をさせないでmo-capした方が良かったとか言う感じの話かと思います。
