海外のサイトを検索しても使用例はかなり少ないようです。 地域を日本以外に指定して検索しても日本語の曲名ばかり出てくる状況。 「位置について、よーい、ドン」の英語として、 Ready, steady, go. Ready, (get)set, go. Get ready, (get)set, go. On your mark, (get)set, go. などがありますが、日本語で「よーい、ドン」と言うように、 英語でも省略してReady, go!のように言うのでしょうか。 それとも和製英語的なものでしょうか。

Here you goとHere you are この違いってありますか？ まずいものを吐き出すときに、相手が自分の手の上にティッシュを差し出しここに出してというシーンがありました。そのときはHere you goでした。 場面によってgoとareは使い分ける必要がありますか？ 辞書をみるとなんだかよく似てる意味がありました。

このカテの質問を見てからずっーと悩んでいるのですが、 1. Where are you going (to/to go)? 2. Where will you go? の使い分けがわかりません。1 は一般に、具体的な予定、スケジュール的な話、現在進行中の話のときに使うと説明され、2 は、意志、あいまいな（未来の）予定の際に使われるように説明されているようです。 しかし、ネットでいろいろ見てから、訳がわからなくなってきました。 Where will you go (shopping/skiing)? は、私の感覚からすると「具体的」な話です。話の流れで () 内が省略されると一般的な説明とはずいぶん離れた印象をもちます。 1.2.に加え、例えば、これらにどんな違いがあるのでしょうか？ 3. Where are you going shopping? 4. Where will you go shopping? どうにも、学校や文法書の解説の延長では納得できないので、具体的な事例、経験などで回答いただけるとありがたいです。

「あなたはこのパーティーに歓迎されていますよ。」など「歓迎されている」 と英語で表現したい場合 You are welcomed to this party. の様に"you are welcomed"を使って表現するのはおかしいでしょうか？ 詳しい方教えて下さい。
