下のインタビューにおける質問で、Thatから始まる文が、前の文につながっていることは調べてわかったのですが、That if you ...以下の文が意味的にどう前の疑問文に関係するのかがはっきりしません。 解説をお願いできますでしょうか。 I've spoken to other doctors who admittedly say that this （医学）isn't their passion, their passion is golfing or doing something else. How much of this is a passion, and how much is this a duty you feel? That if you walked away, you would be walking away from something that is more important to the world than just yourself?

質問で 「あなたはこの猫をどう思いますか？」 「Ｄｏ ｙｏｕ ｔｈｉｎｋ ｏｆ ｔｈｅ ｃａｔ？」 回答で 「私は、その猫はかわいいと思います。」 「Ｉ ｔｈｉｎｋ ｔｈａｔ ｉｔ ｉｓ ｃｕｔｅ.」 この回答の英文ですが この場合は that は不要ですか？ それとも it is cute ではなく、 the cat is cute のほうがいいですか？ また、質問文での that の代わりに of を使うのは、 その後が、物だった場合でよろしいでしょうか？ 上記の質問文はネット動画配信でthinkの使い方を説明してる人が 言ってたことですが、 上記と同じ質問文を、ウェブリオというサイトで翻訳したら 「How do you think of this cat?」 「What do you think of this cat?」 と訳されました これも同じ意味でしょうか？

howで様態の程度を聞くとき、元の文はどうなるの？ 例えば How old is he? ←He is old. これはわかります。 しかし、 How often have you been to London this year? は、元の文に戻すと You have been to London this year. なのか、それとも You have often been to London this year. なのか。 あるいは、 How much money does he have? は、 He has much money. なのか、 He has money. なのか。 これは、元の文には全く無い副詞や形容詞がhowで様態の程度を聞くときに出てきているのでしょうか？ しかし元の文の名詞（上の文であればmoney）が疑問詞に引っ張られているため、元の文に全く無い副詞や形容詞というわけでもないようにも思えます。 Howで様態の程度を聞くとき、いったい元の文はどのようなもので、そこから何が起こっているのでしょうか？
