手紙の英訳をお願いします。

質問

やりとりしているベトナムの少女に下記の手紙を送ります。
私の勉強を兼ねて英語で書こうとしているのですが、自信がないのでどなたか英訳のお手本をお願いできれば幸いです。
（英語→ベトナム語の翻訳は現地のスタッフにやってもらいます）

こんにちは。
元気ですか？
だいぶ返信が遅くなってしまってごめんなさい。

日本では、3/11にとても大きな地震がありました。
私の住んでいる東京は大丈夫です。
でもここから遠く離れた海沿いの町では、
大きな津波によって、たくさんの人が命を落としました。
平和だった町が一瞬にしてガレキの山になってしまいました。

日本は今とても大変だけど、みんなで力を合わせて一生懸命頑張っています。
君と同じくらいの小さい子供たちも頑張っています！
私も仲間たちと現地に行って、ガレキの撤去や泥かきのボランティアをしてきました。

ベトナムや世界中の国から、寄付や支援が日本に届いています。
みんなとても喜んでいます。
本当にありがとう！
君も命を大切に、そして両親や友達を大切にして生きてください！

少し早いですが誕生日おめでとう！
バースデーカードを送りますね。

Hello, xxx,
How are you?

I am sorry not to write you a letter in timely manner.
In Japan there was big earthquake on March 11.
Tokyo where I am living was okay.
But in some towns, which are distant places from here were devastated and a lot of people lost their lives because of the tsunami.
Once a peaceful town it was, now became a waste land where you could see a mountain of rubbles of wreckage.

We all are suffered form this disaster, but trying our best hand in hand with all.
Even children as young as you are are doing the same, putting a lot
of effort with us.
I went to the site and help them to remove mud and wreckages as a volunteer.

A lot of donations and relieves material have arrived to Japan from the world including Vietnam.
People here in Japan are happy to know it.
Your life is the most important thing, so please take care of your self and keep your parents and friend happy.

A little bit early, butI want to say "happy birthday" to you.
Please find a birthday card I send.
