Bruce springsteenの訳について
Bruce springsteenのアルバム「The Rising」中の曲“You're Missing”の訳詞でちょっと困っております。 曲後半において－ Morning is morning, the evening falls I have too much room in my bed, too many phone calls とあるのですが、I have too much room in my bedをどのようにうまく訳して良いのか判りません。 おそらくそこには一般人程度の英語能力では理解できない独特のニュアンスがあるものと思われますので、もし詳しい方がいらっしゃったら是非お教え願えないでしょうか？ （当初too much roomは残された家族の部屋と曲解していたのですが 、in my bedがあるとなるとそう訳すわけにもいかず、てっきり中層階級だと思っていた語り部のシチュエーションが判らなくなってしまいました。どうかお助けください)

room には「空間」という意味があります。つまりスペースですね。 ですから I have too much room in my bed で「ベッドは自分一人じゃ広すぎる」ということでしょう。
