Keepは ～を保つ、ある状態にしておく、維持するということです。 ・Hand＝手 を Off＝離す ですので、手を離して（近づけないで） ・This side ＝ こちら側(面） を UP ＝上 ですので、この面（こちら側）を 上にして という意味になると思います。いずれも注意書きなどによく使われる表現です。 ご参考になれば幸いです。

"Keep standing on your beliefs"と言う表現を最近見ましたが、これって"Keep standing for your beliefs"とどう違うのでしょうか。それともそもそも間違っているのでしょうか。更に聞きますけど、これらと"Keep standing up for your beliefs"とどう違うのでしょうか。Stand on your own two feetなら知っていますが、何かonと言う単語を使うことによって特別なフイリングが出せるのでしょうか。 宜しくお願いいたします。

訳がよくわかりません how is your work treating you? it is relly hectic. I have not had any days off this month. という文なんですけど、I have not had any days off this monthのところのoffってどういう風に略したらいいんでしょうか？ それともoff this monthで一つの熟語なんでしょうか？ I have not had any days off this monthの和訳がどういう風になるのかわかりません・・ 解説お願いします

次の文を受身の文に書き換えなさい。 という問題です。 「You must take off your shoes in this room.」 これを your shoes must be taken off by you in this room. としたのですが、 回答では your shoes must be taken off in this room. とby you がありませんでした。 これは行為者は当然 you になるので省略されているのでしょうか。それとも自分が根本的にどこか間違っているのでしょうか。お願いします。

質問があります。 ある雑誌に以下のような英文がのっていました。 At this stage I don't know which side it will be to get off. 訳は“今のままでは、どちら側から降りればいいか分かりません。”でした。内容はバスの降り方について話しているようです。 which side it will be to get offの形が分かりません（例えばitが何を指しているかなど・・）。アドバイスをいただけると助かります。
