こんにちは、いま、経済学の勉強を英語でしています the interest rate the fedral changes on loans to bank のところの、change on loans to bankとは、どういう意味でしょうか？ 銀行にお金を貸すことを変えると訳すんでしょうか？ the interest rate banks change on overnight loans to other banks とあるんですが、どーしてもloans のつかい方がはっきりせず、しかも文法もメッチャくチャのような気がして、なんとなく言いたいことは分かるんですが、はっきりとわかろおませんよかったら、どのように訳すのが一番適当なのか、しえていただけると光栄です よろしくお願いします

the interest rate the fedral changes on loans to bank 「連邦準備基金が銀行へ貸し出す際に変化する貸し出し金利」 これは銀行間取引での金利のことで、changesは金利が変わる、 という意味。the interest rate は先行詞。 the interest rate banks change on overnight loans to other banks 「銀行間金利は他の銀行へのオーバーナイトの貸し出しにおいて 変化します」 changeは動詞。オーバーナイトは金融の専門用語で銀行間で当座 融通される相互貸し出し。

changeではなく、chargeではないですか？ charge on loans to bankなら、「銀行への貸し出しに課す」「銀行への貸し出しにつける」です。

多分和訳本が出ているのではと思いますが？ 一番目の文章は公定歩合（official interest rate)を説明した文。 二番目の文章はLIBOR,CIBOR,TIBORなどロンドン、シカゴ、東京 などでの銀行間金利を説明した文。これは短資銀行を仲介 して行われます。検索してみると勉強になります。

取引先から利息の計算方法についての説明文書をいただいたのですが（英語）、内容がよくわからず困っています。 "Interest shall be calculated at a rate being the aggregate of the best bank rate charged to the buyer by the buyer's bank."となっており、"at a rate being"は「現在の利率」と推測をつけたのですが、"the aggregate of the best bank rate”の意味がわかりません。「ベストな銀行利率の合計？」とは何のことをいっているのでしょうか。どなたかお教えねがえませんでしょうか。

文の途中で主語が変わるのは文法的に間違いであると言われます。 Because Bank of Japan raised an interest rate, the stock prices fell. という文は文法的に間違いなのでしょうか？ Becauseからカンマまでの部分の主語はBank of Japanで カンマ以降の部分の主語はthe stock pricesなので、 途中で主語が変わるので文法的に間違いの文であるように言われます。 実際に言われたのは上の文ではないですが、 翻訳前の日本語の文を作る段階で、 「AがBすることにより、CはDする。」 この文は主語がAから途中でCに変わるから、英語に直したときに、 文法的に間違いになるということを言われます。
