英語の教材を聞いてるのですが、ニューセンツ？ヌーセッツ？みたいに聞こえる言葉があるんですけどこれ何だと予想できますか。 わかる方教えてください。 以下聞き取り内容です。（聞き取れない部分は:::としてあります） The Tokyo metropolitan government is no ::: a plan to ::: regulations on public ニューセンツ. 今、この質問は東京メトロ副都心線の車内から書いています。 今、新宿三丁目駅を発車して 和光市方面へ向かっています。 車内のLCDをみていたら どうしても分からない所が出てきたので教えてくださり。 LCDでは、 『次は 池袋(I-09) 池袋の次は小竹向原に停まります。新河岸、上福岡へおいでの方は乗り換えです。』となっていますが、 これの英語表記が、 The next station is Ikebukuro(I-09).(中略) For stations in between Please change trains at the next stop. となっています。 ここで質問です。 なぜ、trainsが複数形になるんでしょうか？ この英語で言いたいことは、通過する 新河岸と上福岡で降りたい人は 各駅停車に乗りかえてね、ということらしいのですが、 乗る各駅停車は１本なんですから、単数形でいいんじゃないでしょうか？ stations が複数形なのは分かりますが、 trainsが複数形なのは納得できません。 どなたか 中傷なしで教えてくださり。 よろしくお願いいたします。

数日前の読売新聞朝刊の社説が英訳されているDaily Yomiuriで、 The government has compiled a new policy on nuclear safety regulations... という表記がありましたが、このcompliedは自動詞なのでwithが必要だと思うのですが、他動詞としての用法もあるのでしょうか。おわかりになる方、教えて頂けますでしょうか。
