＃２です。補足です。 ＞＞１。microplastic[s]と表記され［s］となっているのはｓが在っても無くても良いという事なのでしょうか。 結果的には「ここでは」そうです。 ＞＞２。また、もしそうだったら、在るのと無いのとではどういう意味の違いが 出てきますか。 ある時：可算名詞で複数、意味は「マイクロプラスチックの物」 ない時：不可算名詞、あるいは形容詞。意味は「マイクロプラスチックの」

先日、 「Piaget's term for the ability of the child to recognize that certain properties of objects (such as mass, volume, number) do not change despite transformations in the appearance of the objects.」 という英文の訳について質問をした際に、 「thatは名詞節を導く接続詞で、この名詞節は不定詞recognizeの目的語になっています。」 といわれました。 そもそも英文の構造がわからないんですが、この英文のSとVはどこになるんでしょうか？ Piaget's term for the ability of the child…と、ここまで名詞だと思って読み進めてきたんですが、 不定詞が動詞の働きをしてるってことですか？よくわからないです。どなたか教えて頂けないでしょうか。 どこで詰まっているのか自分自身でもよくわかってないです。

そもそも編集者は、microplastic[s]と表記して何をうったえようとしたので しょうか。 あなた様の説明を拝見しているかぎり《microplastic》としようが《microplastics》 にしようが意味に大きな違いが出て来る様に思えません。 「巨大な浮遊式フェンスで回収 海洋プラごみ一掃作戦が始動」と題しての 記事のものですが、マイクロプラスチックが海に沢山あるという事だと思います。 microplastic[s]とするからややこしくなるのだと思います。 発言者が、『microplastic』としたのであれば修正する必要はなかったのでは ないでしょうか。

I am 14 years old and facing a dilemma. My father isn't particularly religious, but my mother is a strict Catholic, and my older sister and brother have been confirmed. I have another six months before I am expected to go through the process of confirmation. I do not want to do this. しばしば混乱することがあります。 英文の省略表記で、 He's ... とか It's ... とかといった表記があると思いますが、 He is / It is なのか、 He has / It has なのか。 「He has / It has」であるという認識なのですが、 100％常に？という点において疑問を持ってます。 前に「He is / It is」であるケースに出会った気がします。 さだかではないのですが。気のせいかもしれません。 あと、そのほかの代名詞でない名詞、たとえば mayor's といった場合は、 100％常に「mayor has」ではなくて所有の意（市長の）になるという認識で いいのでしょうか？ 以上、２点、代名詞'sと名詞'sのケースについて教えていただけますでしょうか。 （そもそも代名詞か名詞かで分けられるものかどうかも定かではないです。）
