Generally speaking, countries with a high standard of living consume more water than those with a low standard of living. The United States consumes by far the greatest amount of water: an average that amounts to 7200 liters per American each day. In comparison, total daily consumption of water per person amounts to 4800 liters in Canada, 1400 liters in Britain, and 1200 in China. In Japan, total water consumption amounts to 2600 liters per person per day: an amount that corresponds to filling up a bathtub thirteen times.  Water on our planet is not an unlimited resource. If we keep using water at the present rate, we will suffer from constant shortage in the near future. This could lead to nations fighting over scarce water supplies, just as they have fought to get gold and petroleum in the past. 和訳をしていて、途中から良く分からなくなりました。 水資源についての英文です。和訳例をお願い致します。

The attack commenced on 29 September on a 50 miles (80 km) wide front from Flămânda, near Oltenița, to Zimnicea in the direction of Mackensen's western flank, with the Romanian forces enjoying superiority in numbers of infantry personnel and artillery equipment. However, the Romanian struggle to cross the Danube was slowed by the Austro-Hungarian Navy's Danube Flotilla. On October 1, two Romanian divisions crossed the Danube at Flămânda and created a bridgehead 14 kilometer-wide and 4 kilometer-deep. This area was expanded on the following day, with eight Bulgarian settlements ending up in Romanian hands.

There was a progressive improvement in horsemanship during the summer and autumn of 1916 indicated by the small number of animals evacuated from the Anzac Mounted Division after the strenuous marching and fighting from August following the Battle of Romani and during the capture of El Arish and the Battle of Magdaba. This improvement was augmented by regular inspections by administrative veterinary officers when the advice offered was followed by regimental commanders. During the year the average loss of sick horses and mules from the Sinai front was approximately 640 per week. They were transported in train loads of thirty trucks, each holding eight horses. Animals which died or were destroyed while on active service were buried 2 miles (3.2 km) from the nearest camp unless this was not practicable. In this case the carcasses were transported to suitable sites away from troops, where they were disembowelled and left to disintegrate in the dry desert air and high temperatures. Animals which died or were destroyed in veterinary units at Kantara, Ismalia, Bilbeis, and Quesna were dealt with in this way and after four days’ drying in the sun, the carcases were stuffed with straw and burnt, after the skins were salved. These were sold to local contractors.

和訳お願いしますO(><;)(;><)O ↓ ↓ How and why did the family meel start to disappear in the United States? My friends in the United States have various explanations about this. Parents and children lead busy lives and there just isn't time for a sit-down meal. Kids'sports schedules run on into dinner hour. After a long day at work, parents are too tired to cook. Teenagers are off on their own after school. Yet study after study shows that having meals together as a family is good for both adults and children. A University of Michigan study found that mealtime at home was the single strongest factor predicting better achievement scores and fewer behavioral problems for children. Mealtime was far more powerful than time spent in school, studying, worshiping, playing sports or doing arts activities. Other studies show that children like family meals. In one report, nearly four-fifths of adolescents cited eating dinner at home as one of their top-rated family activities. In a national YMCA poll in 2000,when teenagers were asked about their worries,21 percent rated“not having enough time with parents”as their top concern.

それぞれ異なる話題についての英文です。どちらも文としてはあまり難しくは無いと思うのですが、話題の内容が上手く掴めませんでした。どちらかと言うと後半の英文です。お願いします。 People in mind climates in the northern hemisphere sometimes experience periods of very hot and humid weather. These periods, which occur in July, August, and early September, are called “dog days” in English. This expression comes from Latin, the language used by the ancient Romans. They believed that Sirius, the Dog Star, which rises with the sun during this time, added its heat to the sun's and caused the hot weather. All modern scientists believe that there is an older to the universe. But the ancient Sumerians, who lived in what is today Iraq, didn't believe in an ordered universe. They believed the universe was ruled by dogs, who did whatever they wanted to do without any reason. The Sumerians probably believed this because unpredictable natural changes occurred in their land, such as floods, that they couldn't control.

いつもありがとうございます 今回は若者文化についての英文です よろしくお願いします The "mods" and "Rockers" each represented distinctly different tastes in music and fashion within youth subculture in the UK during the early 1960s. The British mass media of the day sometimes associated them with the idea of gangs and violence, but this was an exaggeration. As is the case with every new generation, there is always the desire to create a contrast with the old formulas of "the Establishment". Basically, there were two lifestyles by which many British youth at the time could express the tastes of their generation: they could choose elements of either "Mod" or "Rocker" tastes. the Establishment;(支配的な)体制
