NPは全文を聞かせるとどう聞こえる？アナウンサーの特徴
- リスニングの練習でNPRを聞いているが、聞き取りが難しすぎて困っている。特に出だしの一部が全く聞き取れない。
- 長文を聞かせると、一部が「Washington has a blunt message for what about to propose ceasefire in Syria and we put up or shut up in terms of adhering to such a deal」と聞こえるが、これは正しいのか疑問。
- アナウンサーがなぜ聞き取りにくいのか、またなぜ長文だと聞き取れるのかについて解説を求めている。

前回書き込みに失敗しましたので再度挑戦です。今度は音声ファイルにしてホームページにアップしました。 ｗａｖｅファイル http://www.geocities.jp/nack65/kiroku/npr-new.wav ｍｐ３ファイル http://www.geocities.jp/nack65/kiroku/npr-new.mp3 ＮＰＲを聞いてリスニングの練習してるんですが、リスニング難しすぎて頭抱えてます。真ん中あたりの出だし がまったく聞き取れません。 ｇｏｏｇｌｅ先生も ingly put up or shut up in terms of adhering to such a deal としか聞き取れなようです。 しかし、驚いたことに長文を聞かせると Washington has a blunt message for what about to propose ceasefire in Syria and we put up or shut up in terms of adhering to such a deal となってand we と言ってるらしいんですが、これ正しいですか？ あと、アナウンサーなのに、どうしてこんなに聞き取りにくいのか、どうして長文だと聞き取れるのか、その辺の事情についてどなたか解説おねがいします。

> アメリカ人でも聞き取りにくいってことですか？ アメリカ人でない私がとやかく言うのも筋違いかも知れませんが、聞き取りにくいアナウンサーの部類に入ると思います。ネイティブであれば、全体を通して聴けば文章の前後関係から何を言っているのか推測できるものの、部分部分を取り出して聞いてみると、分かりづらいのは確かです。 例えば： Russia → Wussia (RがW) に聞こえます。 Namely → Ingly / And we (最初の子音の "N" がはっきり発音されていない) に聞こえます Adhering to → アンクリアです。特に to の子音 "t" がはきり発音されていません。

＞滑舌の悪さが原因だと思います。 この人の読み上げは聞きにくいとおもってたんですが、アメリカ人でも聞き取りにくいってことですか？
