over-generalizing の意味？
over generalizing とは、どういう意味でしょうか？ ある質問文で、 You can use these phrases to show that you are talking about your experience and avoid over-generalizing. とあります。 回答ケースは、いくつか書かれているフレーズを使って、自分の経験に基づき 日本の文化と、異国の文化の違いを話すような質問なんですが、 avoid over-generalizing とあり、 何を避けて話すのかな？という事がわかりません。

自分の経験から見つけた文化の違いを述べる（紹介する）だけで，そこから一般化して異文化論などを語らないように，という但し書きでしょう． ですから，ここでのover-generalizeとは「余計なことを述べる」くらいの意味です． 設問では遠回しに「余計なことは書くな」と言っているのです．

ここ２日ほど悩んでおります。 問題文は次のようなものです。 ・Do you like these foods?Write about these foods.Use delicious,OK,awful,and good for you. そこで、「potato chips」「yogurt」のキーワードを使って文書を作るのですが、私の知る「OK」の意味だとどうもしっくり来ません。 例文は「Strawberries are delicious.」となってます。 なので単純な問いだと思うのですが、どうもしっくりとしません。 OKの使い方はどのようなものがあるのでしょうか？ あと、awfulは「気持ち悪い、不気味」などの意味で捉えていいんですよね？ どうかアドバイスをお願いいたします。
