twitterでネイティブの方に聞きたいことがあったので聞いたら a well in the UK it was a 12A rating so they had to take it out, I think it varies in different countries! このように返ってきました。 ある映画がグロテスクだったか聞いたものなので 12禁にイギリスでは設定されている のようなことが言いたいのでしょうが 文頭のa wellというのがどういう意味なのか take it outというのがどういう意味なのかがよくわかりません どうか教えてください

a wall　は直訳すると、行き詰るとか、壁にぶちあたる的な意味だと思いますが この文の場合、私だったら（英語は堪能ではないですが） マズイよ、それ とか 絶対にそれはありえない とか 否定的かつ、ありえない的で「あなた、それダメよ」みたいな意味に繋げるかもです。 rating so they had to take it out みんな、その評価（話題）は、避けた、削除した、言いよどんだ、 などかな？と。 直訳だと、その評価を彼等（みんな）は持ち帰った なんでしょうが、ニュアンス的には その話は、心に留めたほうがいい、とか、それはもう言わない方がいい、 削除した方がいいんじゃない。 的な感じじゃないかなぁ、と。間違ってたらごめんなさい。

えっと、イギリスじゃ12Aだったからおそらく禁止だろうね。国によってまちまちだと思うけど。
