So some of the planets in oval orbits around distant stars were probably thrown into those orbits by close encounters with other planets orbiting the same stars. 最後の文がこの文章の結論だというのはわかるのですが... detectedはdetected asとasを伴わないのでしょうか。～として発見された、という意味かと思ったのですが。

「1～10アンダー」と「11～アンダー」の読み方 ゴルフは門外漢ですが，テレビを見ていると，10アンダー位までは英語読みなのに，それ以上は日本語読みになっています。例えば，「9(ナイン)アンダー」と「12(じゅうに)アンダー」のようにです。 これは単に言いやすさの問題ですか。それとも他に理由はあるのでしょうか。
