英文の訳をお願いしたいのですが、いまいちニュアンスを掴みきれません。

Indeed, there are now so many 'scenic drives' that the visitors to the countryside may feel deprived if their view is not framed in a car windscreen. （『基礎 英文解釈の技術100』(桐原書店)の演習52） 「解答・解説」にある訳では「景色を奪われた気になる」となっていますが、全訳は、もしも「view(景色)」が車のフロントガラスの枠に収まっていないと「景色」を奪われた気になる、となっておりどうもしっくりきません。 「何か決定的な部分が欠けている感じがする」、「物足りない気になる」ぐらいかなと思いますが、いかがでしょうか？
