英語の分詞について（中学レベル）
１． Tom was made to clean the room. これのmadeをforcedにしてはダメですか？ ２．Tom was made cleaned the room. この文は変ですか？ ３．「僕らは、サイモンが舞台の上でマジックのトリックをしているのをじっとみていた。」 を英語にすると We watched Simon doing magic tricks on the stage. となるみたいなのですが、doingをdoやto doにできませんか？ ４．I could not make myself understood in French. これのunderstoodをunderstandingにできないのですか？ ぜひ、教えてください！

これは、使役動詞の受身なので中学レベルではないと思いますが、違いますか？ ＞１． Tom was made to clean the room. ＞これのmadeをforcedにしてはダメですか？ OKです。 ＞２．Tom was made cleaned the room. ＞この文は変ですか？ おかしいです。 このままでは、「トムは部屋を掃除した状態にされた」のような意味になってしまいます。 ＞３．「僕らは、サイモンが舞台の上でマジックのトリックをしているのをじっとみていた。」 を英語にすると We watched Simon doing magic tricks on the stage. となるみたいなのですが、doingをdoやto doにできませんか？ 「している」なら、doingしかありません。 ＞４．I could not make myself understood in French. これのunderstoodをunderstandingにできないのですか？ できません。make+目的語＋doing の形は、普通使いません。また、この文の意味は、「フランス語で話すことで、自分自身を誰かに理解してもらう」ですから、myself is understood と言う受身の関係が元々あります。 以上ですが、これは、どう見ても高校1年か2年レベルです。もし、中学でやっているとしたらどこの学校ですか？

１は多分大丈夫です。 ２は Tom was made the room clean ならＯＫだと思われます。 ３は「～しているのを」となっているので、ing形を使う必要があるので、原形や不定詞は使えません。 ４はできません。 理屈がわからなければ丸暗記でもいいと思います。
