どう表現すればよいでしょうか？

皆様始めまして。質問です。 昨日、友達にメールで画像を送ったとします。 しかし、送信が失敗し、再度今日送るとします。 メールに、「この画像は昨日送ったメールで送った画像です。」 ということを英語で一言添えるにはどう書けばよいのでしょう？ ちなみに、私は、 ・This pictures are pictures that I sent by e-mail yesterday. かな？と思ったのですが・・・ よろしくお願いします。

はじめまして。 だいたいよくできています。訂正箇所は以下の通りです。 １．This pictures： picturesは複数名詞なので、ThisはTheseになります。 ２．This pictures are pictures： （１）picuturesを2度重複する必要はありません。この場合は主語のpicturesを省略します。 例： These are pictures （２）あるいは、These picturesを主語にたてて、動詞をbe sentといきなり受動態で持ってくる、という方法もあります。 例： These pictures are sent （３）なお、画像はpictureではなくimageを通常用います。 ３．sent by e-mailでも結構ですが、e－mail「メールで送る」という慣用化された動詞を用いると簡単です。 ４．また、メッセージ的な短い文では、なるべく関係詞を用いず、省略や過去分詞などで代用し、簡潔な文にするといいでしょう。 なお、ここで関係代名詞を用いていますが、この用法だと「昨日送った画像と同一」となってしまい、違和感がありますので、ここはsameを添えて「～と同じ画像」とします。 ５．以上を踏まえて訳例は This is the same image as I e-mailed yesterday. 「これは昨日メールしたのと同じ画像です」 このasは関係代名詞の用法で、先行詞はthe same imageです。 複数なら These are the same images as I e-mailed yesterday. 「これらは昨日メールしたのと同じ画像です」 となります。 過去分詞を使ってより単純化すると This is the same image as e-mailed yesterday. 「これは昨日メールしたのと同じ画像です」 となります。 以上ご参考までに。

いいと思いますよ。 あえて言うならば They are pictures that I sent by e-mail yesterday. にするとスッキリすると思います。
